Perineurioma‐like EMA‐positive calvarial neoplasms: clinicopathological study of eight cases
Perineurioma‐like, EMA‐positive calvarial neoplasms (PLECN) are a rare group of intraosseous spindle cell tumours that demonstrate overlapping morphologic features of perineurioma and fibroblastic meningioma. These lesions tend to behave indolently but show a propensity for progressive growth.

Langerhans cell histiocytoses (LCH) represent rare diseases of unclear etiology and pathogenesis. Most of the cases include children, 1 to 15 years of age, and various organs are involved (bones, skin, liver, lymph nodes, bone marrow and other).

Interaction properties of Langerin to different glycosaminoglycans.
(A-C) Structure of glycosaminoglycan disaccharides. Disaccharide units for heparin/HS (A), CS/DS (B) or KS (C). R = COCH3 or SO3H; X = H or SO3. The star indicates presence of glucuronic or iduronic acid C-5 epimers.

Epidemiology of Canine Cutaneous Histiocytoma: Insights From Age and Topographic Clustering
Background: Canine cutaneous histiocytoma (CCH) is a benign Langerhans‐cell tumour that often regresses spontaneously via inflammation. Objectives: To estimate incidence and characterise age and breed–anatomical‐site patterns using two complementary clustering analyses.

Carbohydrate-Dependent Binding of Langerin to SodC, a Cell Wall Glycoprotein of Mycobacterium leprae [PDF]
Langerhans cells participate in the immune response in leprosy by their ability to activate T cells that recognize the pathogen, Mycobacterium leprae, in a langerin-dependent manner.

Langerin is a type II transmembrane C-type lectin associated with the formation of Birbeck granules in Langerhans cells. Langerin is a highly selective marker for Langerhans cells and the lesional cells of Langerhans cell histiocytosis. Although Langerin

Langerhans cell histiocytosis (LCH) is characterized by the accumulation of Langerin (CD207)-expressing histiocytes. Mutational activation of mitogen-activated protein kinase pathway genes, in particular BRAF, drives most cases. To test whether activated

Metabolic Tagging of Tumour Extracellular Vesicles for Targeted Modulation of Dendritic Cells
ABSTRACT Extracellular vesicles (EVs) have emerged as a promising alternative to cell‐based therapies due to their benign safety profiles and favourable pharmacokinetic properties. Tumour EVs, in particular, have shown promise to function as a therapeutic cancer vaccine for various cancer types.
