Structure characterization and antioxidant activity analysis of polysaccharides from Lanzhou Lily

open access: yesFrontiers in Nutrition, 2022
Lanzhou Lily (Lilium davidii var. unicolor) is a traditional medicinal plant and popular edible vegetable bulb in China. In this study, the polysaccharides of Lanzhou Lily (LLPs) were extracted by polyethylene glycol-based ultrasonic-assisted enzymatic ...

Liquid–liquid phase separation and morphologies in organic particles consisting of α-pinene and β-caryophyllene ozonolysis products and mixtures with commercially available organic compounds [PDF]

open access: yesAtmospheric Chemistry and Physics, 2020
Liquid–liquid phase separation (LLPS) in organic aerosol particles can impact several properties of atmospheric particulate matter, such as cloud condensation nuclei (CCN) properties, optical properties, and gas-to-particle partitioning.

Liquid–liquid phase separation in organic particles containing one and two organic species: importance of the average O : C [PDF]

open access: yesAtmospheric Chemistry and Physics, 2018
Recently, experimental studies have shown that liquid–liquid phase separation (LLPS) can occur in organic particles free of inorganic salts. Most of these studies used organic particles consisting of secondary organic materials generated in ...

Molecular mechanisms and cellular functions of liquid-liquid phase separation during antiviral immune responses

open access: yesFrontiers in Immunology, 2023
Spatiotemporal separation of cellular components is vital to ensure biochemical processes. Membrane-bound organelles such as mitochondria and nuclei play a major role in isolating intracellular components, while membraneless organelles (MLOs) are ...

Searches for heavy long-lived sleptons and R-hadrons with the ATLAS detector in pp collisions at √s=7 TeV [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
A search for long-lived particles is performed using a data sample of 4.7 fb(-1) from proton-proton collisions at a centre-of-mass energy √s = 7 TeV collected by the ATLAS detector at the LHC.

Mutant NPM1 in Acute Myeloid Leukemia Initiation and Maintenance

open access: yesAging and Cancer, EarlyView.
NPM1 mutations drive acute myeloid leukemia by acting as neomorphic transcriptional regulators that cooperate with Menin–MLL and XPO1 to sustain HOX/MEIS1 expression and block differentiation. Targeting these mutant‐specific transcriptional dependencies provides a rational therapeutic strategy for NPM1‐mutated AML.

Liquid-liquid phase separation and morphology of internally mixed dicarboxylic acids/ammonium sulfate/water particles [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
Knowledge of the physical state and morphology of internally mixed organic/inorganic aerosol particles is still largely uncertain. To obtain more detailed information on liquid-liquid phase separation (LLPS) and morphology of the particles, we ...
