Loan loss provisions and return predictability: A dynamic perspective
This paper examines the impact of loan loss provisions (LLPs) on return predictability during 1994–2017. We find that on average, LLPs are negatively associated with one year ahead stock returns.

AbstractA general framework for constructing very small deterministic parsers using a mixed top-down-bottom-up parsing strategy is presented. It is proved that the method leads indeed to valid parsers halting for each input string. Conditions ensuring the determinism of the parser are studied, and bounds on its size are established.

On LLP(k) grammars and languages
AbstractThe paper studies the family of LLP(k) grammars introduced by Lomet. Two new grammatical characterizations for this class are presented. The first one shows that these grammars form an extension of strict deterministic grammars, in particular, any strict deterministic grammar is an LLP(0) one.
