Investigating Communication Support Strategies as ‘Micro‐Interventions’: A Conceptual‐Methodological Framework Applying Realist Evaluation and Relevance Theory

open access: yesInternational Journal of Language &Communication Disorders, Volume 61, Issue 2, March/April 2026.
ABSTRACT Background Communication Partner Training is widely applied in speech and language therapy practice, premised on the idea that communication support strategies can optimise conversations involving persons with communication disabilities.

Clinical Versus Pathologic Staging in Early‐Stage Non‐Small Cell Lung Cancer Assessed by an Established Lung Cancer Multidisciplinary Meeting

open access: yesThoracic Cancer, Volume 17, Issue 6, March 2026.
Clinical and pathological staging concordance in early‐stage NSCLC occurred in 73% of cases. Clinical under‐staging occurred in 18.9% of cases. Under‐staging was associated with treatment delays and tumor histopathology and increased the risk of disease recurrence and mortality.

Reducing data processing effort in camera trap density estimation: Extending the REST model by explicitly modelling animal detection processes

open access: yesMethods in Ecology and Evolution, Volume 17, Issue 3, Page 850-862, March 2026.
Abstract Accurate and reliable estimation of wildlife population density is fundamental to effective conservation and management. While camera traps show potential for monitoring ground‐dwelling mammal densities, labour‐intensive data processing remains a significant constraint. Ideally, conservation efforts would benefit from the continuous monitoring

Research advances of mRNA methylation in kidney diseases

open access: yesLinchuang shenzangbing zazhi
Recently mRNA methylation modification has been extensively examined, including N6-methyladenosine (m6A), N5-methylcytidine (m5C) and N1-methyladenosine (m1A).

Dinoflagellate mRNA is pervasively modified with m1A

open access: yesEMBO Reports
N 1-methyladenosine (m1A) is a very rare RNA modification in mammalian mRNA, which occurs in sequences resembling the T-loop of tRNAs and may not have significant effects on gene expression.

Advances in the Structural and Functional Understanding of m1A RNA Modification

open access: yesAccounts of Chemical Research
ConspectusRNA modification is a co- or post-transcriptional process by which specific nucleotides are chemically altered by enzymes after their initial incorporation into the RNA chain, expanding the chemical and functional diversity of RNAs. Our understanding of RNA modifications has changed dramatically in recent years.
