Abstract 755: Antagonistic effect of M-MDSC and N-MDSC during astrocytoma progression

Cancer Research, 2016
Abstract The traditional dogma holds that tumor size has a positive correlation with tumor progression. However, on murine orthotopical astrocytoma model ALTS1C1, we found that the tumor growth is not a linear function instead a shrinkage and regrowth wave was noticed.

Mission Data Storage Consolidation (MDSC)

SpaceOps 2002 Conference, 2002
This paper describes a storage related project undertaken on the Consolidated Space Operations Contract (CSOC) by Lockheed Martin Space Operations (LMSO). The project, Mission Data Storage Consolidation (MDSC), was defined with the intent of enabling NASA’s Johnson Space Center (JSC) to reduce storage costs in ground systems and related support ...

Ex Vivo MDSC Differentiation Models

2016
The development of adequate ex vivo cell differentiation models is the key for the study of cell ontology and functions. For example, since ex vivo differentiation systems for conventional myeloid dendritic cells (DCs) were developed, research in these important regulators of immunity was significantly increased.

Rapid Isolation of untouched mouse MDSCs

The Journal of Immunology, 2019
Abstract Myeloid-derived suppressor cells (MDSCs) are a heterogeneous population of cells that regulate immune responses in cancer, chronic infections and inflammatory conditions. In an individual with a tumor burden, MDSCs accumulate in peripheral lymphoid organs and within the tumor microenvironment.

Pak2 Regulates MDSC Development and Function

Blood, 2016
Abstract Myeloid derived suppressor cells (MDSCs) are a heterogeneous cell population at various stages of differentiation that can increase under various pathologic conditions such as cancer, infection or inflammation, displaying suppressive function.

MDSC: Myeloid-Derived Suppressor Cells

2016
Myeloid-derived suppressor cells (MDSC) are a heterogeneous population of immature myeloid cells whose numbers are increased in states of cancer, inflammation, or infection. MDSC are reported to be induced by tumor-produced growth factors in cancer-bearing hosts. Mechanisms of immune suppression by MDSC include production of arginase-1, reactive oxygen
