Fel d 1‐Expressing Plant‐Derived Bioparticle: A Novel Treatment for Cat Allergy

open access: yesAllergy, Volume 81, Issue 6, Page 2156-2171, June 2026.
This study investigates the allergenicity and immunogenicity profile of a novel plant‐derived Fel d 1 bioparticle (eBP). Fel d 1 eBP promotes immune tolerance by redirecting allergic Th2 responses toward Th1 and IL‐10–producing regulatory pathways, including Bregs.

Papillomatosis and carcinomatosis in the western barred bandicoot (Perameles bougainville) [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
Conservation efforts to prevent the extinction of the endangered western barred bandicoot Perameles bougainville (WBB) are currently hindered by a debilitating progressive papillomatosis and carcinomatosis syndrome.

Nucleotide Sequence and Characterization of Human Papillomavirus Type 83, a Novel Genital Papillomavirus

open access: yes, 1999
Studies of human papillomaviruses (HPV) are hampered by the lack of a conventional culture system, because HPV completes its life cycle only in fully differentiated human tissue. To overcome this obstacle, the athymic mouse xenograft system has been used

Molecular and Cell Biological Characterization of Patient‐Derived Head and Neck Squamous Carcinoma Cell Lines

open access: yesCancer Science, Volume 117, Issue 6, Page 1623-1634, June 2026.
Patient‐derived head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC) cells were genomically and cytogenetically characterized, revealing actionable alterations and chromosomal instability. Targeted therapies suppressed growth according to EGFR amplification or PIK3CA mutation status.

Cell cycle control and its modulation in HPV infected cells

open access: yes, 2010
A key effect of human papillomavirus (HPV) infection is to disrupt the normal cell cycle in order to subvert the cellular DNA replication machinery. Morphologically, condylomata induced by high and low risk HPV types cannot be distinguished and many ...

In Vitro Transformation by Bovine Papillomavirus

open access: yes, 1984
We have studied tumorigenic transformation of mouse tissue culture cells by bovine papillomavirus (BPV) as a model of papillomavirus-induced cell proliferation.

Cancer‐Associated Fibroblasts in Invasion Front Can be a Prognostic Predictor for Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma

open access: yesPathology International, Volume 76, Issue 6, June 2026.
Tumor immune microenvironment (TME) is an important pathogenic component in cancer, and a therapeutic target. To examine the role of the TME, especially cancer‐ associated fibroblasts (CAFs) in oral squamous cell carcinoma (SCC), a retrospective cohort study of 684 patients with surgically resected tissues was performed. Immunohistochemical analysis of

Chimeric Papillomavirus-like Particles

open access: yes, 1997
We have constructed chimeric papillomavirus-like particles (CVLPs) by replacing the 34-carboxy-terminal amino acids of the HPV 16 L1 protein with various parts of the HPV 16 E7 protein.

The interaction between the HPV E1^E4 protein and the cell cytoskeleton.

open access: yes, 2007
Papillomaviruses are small DNA viruses, which cause benign and malignant lesions in the differentiated epithelium of mammals and birds. A small subset of human papillomaviruses (HPV's), have been identified as the etiological agent of cervical cancer ...
