Rigidly connected multispecific artificial binders with adjustable geometries [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
Multivalent binding proteins can gain biological activities beyond what is inherent in the individual binders, by bringing together different target molecules, restricting their conformational flexibility or changing their subcellular localization.

Reproduction Pattern and Multispecific Spawning of Acropora spp. in Spermonde Islands Reef, Indonesia (Pola Reproduksi dan Pemijahan Multispecific Acropora Spp. di Kepulauan Spermonde, Indonesia)

open access: yesIlmu Kelautan, 2013

A Network Pharmacology and Experimental Validation Strategy for Hypoglycemic Study of Lonicerae Japonicae Flos on Diabetes

open access: yesJournal of Cellular and Molecular Medicine, Volume 30, Issue 9, May 2026.
ABSTRACT As diabetes has become an important public health issue, Lonicerae Japonicae Flos (LJF) had gradually attracted increasing attention on diabetes. This study aimed to investigate the hypoglycemic ingredients and underlying mechanisms of LJF in diabetes using an integrated strategy of network pharmacology, molecular docking and experimental ...

Experiments with defined multispecific coccidial infections in lambs

open access: yesParasitology, 1976
The behaviour of four species of Eimeria was studied in lambs which were given either monospecific or multispecific infections. In the presence of other species the patency of oocyst production of E. ovina and E. weybridgensis was extended and the total number of oocysts produced by all species except E. ninakohlyakimovae was increased.

NK Cell Activation by Platinum Boosts Immunotherapy in HR+/HER2− Breast Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 20, 9 April 2026.
Multi‐omics and single‐cell analyses identify activated NK cells as key mediators of anti‐PD‐(L)1 response in HR+/HER2− breast cancer. Platinum chemotherapy enhances NK cell cytotoxicity through NF‐κB–associated signaling, synergizing with immunotherapy and providing a rationale for combination treatment.

Molecular Mechanism of Ochratoxin A Transport in the Kidney

open access: yesToxins, 2010
The mycotoxin, ochratoxin A (OTA), is thought to be responsible for Balkan endemic nephropathy. OTA accumulates in several tissues, especially in the kidneys and liver.

Taxonomic Complexity and Conservation Implications of Mediterranean Mesophotic Rhodolith Beds

open access: yesAquatic Conservation: Marine and Freshwater Ecosystems, Volume 36, Issue 4, April 2026.
ABSTRACT Rhodolith beds are bioconstructions formed by coralline algae (Rhodophyta: Corallinophycidae) and are ecologically important worldwide because they provide habitats that support diverse biocenoses. However, conservation efforts are limited by gaps in our knowledge of their spatial distribution and species composition.

THE ROLE OF THE CANALICULAR MULTISPECIFIC ORGANIC ANION TRANSPORTER IN THE DISPOSAL OF ENDOBIOTICS AND XENOBIOTICS

open access: yes, 1994
Bile is an important excretory route for the elimination of amphiphilic organic anions, and hepatocytes are the primary secretory units of bile formation.

Context‐Dependent Chemoselectivity of Aromatic C‐Methyltransferases

open access: yesChemBioChem, Volume 27, Issue 8, April 2026.
Chemoselectivity is context‐dependent: The SAM‐dependent C‐MTs SfmM2 and NapB5 from streptomycetes catalyze the C‐ and/or O‐dimethylation of aromatic substrates, including l‐tyrosine and flavonoids. C‐methylation activity requires precise substrate recognition and positioning to ensure proximity between the target carbon nucleophile and the methyl ...
