Microfluidic Hydroporation Platform for Effective Allogeneic CAR‐T Cell Production and Subsequent Functional Cytotoxicity Analysis

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
The hydroporator platform employs controlled hydrodynamic deformation for efficient mRNA and CRISPR/Cas9 delivery into primary human T cells, enabling allogeneic CAR‐T cell manufacturing. It preserves cell functionality and drives potent gene editing, CAR expression, and tumor cytotoxicity, while feature‐based analysis links these functional outcomes ...

Cellular Snowballing: Cell Adhesion and Migration Drive the Self‐Assembly of Cell‐Microgel Biohybrid Spheroids

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A new class of biohybrid spheroids is engineered through the self‐assembly of adherent cells and extracellular matrix‐mimetic hydrogel microparticles (microgels). By mimicking a snowballing effect, this approach enables scalable formation of porous, millimeter‐scale spheroids with enhanced cell viability and molecular diffusion.

A Native American Technology Transfer: The Diffusion of Potato [PDF]

open access: yesHortScience, 1999
Potato (Solanum tuberosum L.) deserves merit as one of the most important foods of the world, as well as a notable example of dissemination to the rest of the world of a crop domesticated solely by native South Americans. It was unknown to Europeans until the onset of exchanges between the two hemispheres that commenced after the voyages of Christopher

A Nanoparticle‐Integrated Complete Manufacturing Pipeline of Chemically Engineered Exosomes

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We report a novel manufacture technology of chemically engineered exosomes. The four steps of manufacturing, i.e., biogenesis, loading, isolation, and storage, are integrated by the use of a nanoparticle. The manufacture technology incorporates three innovative components, i.e., a new nano‐bio effect, a new composite nanoparticle, and a new isolation ...
