Combining osimertinib with the STING agonist ADU‐S100 activates innate and adaptive immunity to overcome the non‐inflamed microenvironment of Egfr‐mutant lung cancer. This combination increases NK and CD8+ T‐cell infiltration, associated with activation of the STING‐IRF3 pathway and local immunogenic cell death.

Antigen specificity of invariant natural killer T-cells
Natural killer T-cells, with an invariant T-cell antigen receptor α-chain (iNKT cells), are unique and conserved subset of lymphocytes capable of altering the immune system through their rapid and potent cytokine responses.

Tumor recognition by natural killer cells in acute myeloid leukemia and after hematopoietic stem cell transplantation [PDF]
Natural killer (NK) cell-mediated cytolytic activity against tumors requires the engagement of activating NK cell receptors by the tumor-associated ligands.

Loss of proton‐sensing TDAG8 increases tumor progression in mouse models of colon cancer
Loss of the pH‐sensing receptor TDAG8 accelerates colorectal cancer progression in mice. Animals lacking TDAG8 expression had increased tumor growth, DNA damage, and recruitment of tumor‐associated immune cells, including macrophages, neutrophils, and monocytes.

Antitumor Responses of Invariant Natural Killer T Cells
Natural killer T (NKT) cells are innate-like lymphocytes that were first described in the late 1980s. Since their initial description, numerous studies have collectively shed light on their development and effector function.

Increased angiogenic factor secretion by decidual natural killer cells from pregnancies with high uterine artery resistance alters trophoblast function. [PDF]
STUDY QUESTION Are the concentrations of factors secreted by decidual natural killer (dNK) cells from pregnancies at high risk of poor spiral artery remodelling different to those secreted from pregnancies at low risk?

Antitumor Immunity Exerted by Natural Killer and Natural Killer T Cells in the Liver
The liver plays crucial roles in systemic immunity and greatly contributes to the systemic defense mechanism. Antitumor immunity in the liver is especially critical for the defense against systemic tumor cell dissemination. To achieve effective defense against metastatic tumor cells, liver immune cells with powerful cytotoxic activities construct a ...

Insulin-like growth factor I is an independent coregulatory modulator of natural killer (NK) cell activity. [PDF]
We aimed to investigate the natural killer (NK) cell activity in hGH-deficient adults and to analyze the effect of insulin-like growth factor (IGF)-I in uivo and in vitro on NK cell activity.
