Villkor för implementering av Naturvetenskap och Teknik för Alla, NTA

open access: yesNordina: Nordic Studies in Science Education, 2012
The last decade there have been efforts made to develop teaching in Science and Technology in the compulsory schools in Sweden. One example is the introduction of the school-development program Science and Technology for All (NTA). The main intentions of

Photocleavage and Photophysical Properties of Amine Releasing BODIPY Derivatives

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, Volume 31, Issue 24, April 25, 2025.
This paper introduces the synthesis, structural studies, photophysical properties, and photocleavage studies of three novel green light cleavable boron dipyrromethene (BODIPY) derivatives with varying sizes of aromatic terminal groups. All BODIPY derivatives have similar spectroscopical properties. Photocleavage studies in different conditions revealed

Folding of mRNA‐DNA Origami for Controlled Translation and Viral Vector Packaging

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, Volume 37, Issue 15, April 16, 2025.
The packaging of mRNA into a compact, predefined shape can impact cellular delivery. This study presents a first set of design rules for the efficient folding of mRNA‐DNA origami structures, while preserving its initial translation functionality, which is demonstrated extracellularly as well as in vitro by using virus capsid proteins for packaging and ...

Seaweed Invasions and Novel Chemical Defences [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
Biological invasions pose a risk to the biodiversity and the functioning of ecosystems in invaded areas. The reasons why some introduced species become dominant and widespread in their new environments is still largely an unsettled question.

Redox‐Active Bisphosphonate‐Based Viologens as Negolytes for Aqueous Organic Flow Batteries

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, Volume 31, Issue 16, March 17, 2025.
Bisphosphonate‐substituted viologens (BBPE‐Vi and MBPE‐Vi) exhibit high solubility (1.45 M) and stability (0.009% capacity decay per cycle), making them effective for AOFBs. The bulky, negatively charged bisphosphonate groups reduce degradation through bimolecular side reactions, while their electron‐rich character in the deprotonated state effectively

Lärares uppfattningar av undervisning och naturvetenskap som innehåll i förskolans verksamhet

open access: yesNordina: Nordic Studies in Science Education, 2017
The aim of the research project is to analyze and describe how pre-school teachers during an in-service training period develop theoretical knowledge about focusing the content when planning for teaching science in pre-school.

Perovskite‐Inspired Cs₂AgBi₂I₉: A Promising Photovoltaic Absorber for Diverse Indoor Environments

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, Volume 15, Issue 7, February 18, 2025.
This study have developed polycrystalline Cs₂AgBi₂I₉, a promising material for indoor photovoltaics (IPVs). Cs₂AgBi₂I₉ films have intriguing properties, such as weak electron‐phonon coupling and low exciton binding energy, which are advantageous for photovoltaic applications. Cs₂AgBi₂I₉ devices have demonstrated ≈8% efficiency at 1000 lux. They perform

Soft Micropneumatic Touchpad

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, Volume 7, Issue 2, February 2025.
Sensors outputting fluidic signals would allow replacing electrical or optical sensors in soft devices with their fluidic alternatives. This work reports a soft elastomeric touchpad consisting of 32 pneumatic microchannels. When touched, the cross‐sectional area and flow resistance of the channels near the contact location change, allowing the touchpad
