This study is based on measured current–voltage curves of a 23 module photovoltaic (PV) string. Engineered superhydrophobic micropillars reduced A549 cell adhesion tenfold after 1 day of incubation via a plastron‐mediated physical repellency mechanism, independent of cell‐surface biochemical interactions. Halogen‐Bonded Liquid Crystal Elastomers as Initiator‐Free Photochemical Actuators
The combination of dynamic disulfide bonds and halogen bonds in chain‐extended liquid crystal elastomers enables the fabrication of photochemical actuators without the need for a photoinitiator, advancing the design of multimodal soft actuators that can be reprogrammed and reprocessed through supramolecular functionalization.
