Summary: Kaposi sarcoma-associated herpesvirus (KSHV) is an oncogenic γ-herpesvirus. Autophagy during KSHV entry has remained unexplored. We show that LC3 lipidation as a hallmark of autophagy is induced shortly after KSHV entry.

Myosin VI has been implicated in many cellular processes including endocytosis, secretion, membrane ruffling and cell motility. We carried out a yeast two-hybrid screen and identified TRAF6-binding protein (T6BP) and nuclear dot protein 52 (NDP52) as myosin VI binding partners.

In HCC, circZNF79(5) binds to YBX1 and functions as an oncogene, recruits BRCC36 to remove K63‐linked ubiquitin chains to stabilize YBX1 protein, and promotes HCC progression via the HIF‐1 signaling pathway.
