The role of neuropilin-1 (NRP1) in the development of SARS-CoV-2 infection
A review of the literature on the role of neuropilin-1 in the development of SARS-CoV-2 infection and a search for probable links between polymorphic variants of the NRP1 gene and SARS-CoV-2 are presented.

A noncanonical role for Jagged1 in endothelial mechanotransduction
The Notch signaling pathway plays a crucial role in regulating endothelial biology. Notch signaling is sensitive to hemodynamic forces and governs mechanically driven cardiovascular development, physiology, and remodeling. This study reveals a non‐canonical role for the Notch ligand Jagged1 in endothelial mechanotransduction.

Neuropilin-2 is an entry receptor for Chikungunya virus
Abstract Chikungunya virus (CHIKV) is a mosquito-borne alphavirus that causes acute febrile illness and chronic arthralgia, yet no approved antivirals exist. Although MXRA8 was previously identified as a CHIKV receptor, it cannot account for viral infection in MXRA8 absence both in vitro

Jack of many trades: Multifaceted role of neuropilins in pancreatic cancer
Neuropilins (NRPs) have been described as receptors for class 3 semaphorins and coreceptors for a plethora of ligands, such as members of the vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) family of angiogenic cytokines and transforming growth factor (TGF ...
