The study found that SARS‐CoV‐2 Omicron infection causes region‐specific inflammatory, immune, synaptic, and signaling disorders in the brain, and the predicted kinases and differentially expressed proteins may serve as potential targets for COVID‐19‐related drug discovery.

The Notch signaling pathway plays a crucial role in regulating endothelial biology. Notch signaling is sensitive to hemodynamic forces and governs mechanically driven cardiovascular development, physiology, and remodeling. This study reveals a non‐canonical role for the Notch ligand Jagged1 in endothelial mechanotransduction.
