Biochemical and functional analysis of the ubiquitin binding properties of the NF-κB regulator NEMO
Many types of ubiquitin chains can modify several proteins at the activated TNFR. Additionally many UBD-containing ubiquitin receptors localise there to mediate the signal constituted by these chains.

Expression of Ig receptors on the U937-NF-κB reporter cell line.
U937 cells express FcγRI, FcγRII, FcαRI of Fc receptors (A). Transfection with NF-κB-GFP did not alter the Fc receptor expression patterns in the U937 cell line (B).

We report a new thiolate‐reactive α,α‐gem‐dibromo lactam warhead that activates transcription factor Nrf2 and demonstrates anti‐inflammatory activities, which have implications in cancer, neurodegeneration, and cardiovascular diseases. RNA‐seq illuminated detailed transcriptional profiles, and chemical reactions with cysteine‐containing compounds ...

Phospholipid transfer protein(PLTP) plays a critical role in forming a complex with kinase A (AURKA) and P65. This interaction facilitates phosphorylation of P65 at Ser536, leading to the activation of the NF‐κB signaling pathway. Ultimately, this leads to the upregulation of downstream cytokines, including IL‐6, IL‐8, and CSF‐1, which promotes M2 ...

ABSTRACT Accumulating evidence suggests that the intestinal microbiota participates in the progression of metabolic dysfunction‐associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD) through microbiota‐host interaction. However, the beneficial role of commensal mycobiota in MASLD progression remains poorly understood.

Pathogenetics mechanisms in celiac disease

A genome‐wide microRNA CRISPR screen identifies miR‐18a as a master regulator of cross‐resistance in melanoma. Loss of miR‐18a activates the AJUBA–YAP/Hippo axis to confer BRAFi resistance and enhances THBS1–CD47 interaction to impair CD8+ T cell immunity. hnRNP A1 is identified as an upstream regulator of miR‐18a processing.

Immunofluroscence of phosphorylated p65-NF-κB expression in hPVECs and VK2/E6E7 cells.
hPVECs (A) and VK2/E6E7 (B) cells were treated with LPS (10 μg/ml 6 hrs) or Bay 11–7082 (5 μM for 24 hrs). Stimulation with LPS activates p65-NF-κB expression in hPVECs (b,e) and VK2/E6E7 cells (h,k) as compared to unstimulated hPVECs (a,d) and VK2/E6E7 ...

Targeting Lactate and Lactylation in Cancer Metabolism and Immunotherapy
Lactate, once deemed a metabolic waste, emerges as a central regulator of cancer progression. This review elucidates how lactate and its epigenetic derivative, protein lactylation, orchestrate tumor metabolism, immune suppression, and therapeutic resistance.
