Neurovascular coupling in bone regeneration: Mechanisms, advanced biomaterials and challenges
This figure illustrates various material strategies for neurovascularized bone regeneration, including electroactive scaffolds, ion‐loaded materials, drug delivery systems, surface modifications, cells/cell products, growth factors, and peptides. These approaches aim to synergistically promote the regeneration of neural, vascular, and bone tissues ...

Transkriptionelle Regulation von und durch NFATc1 in Lymphozyten [PDF]
The transcription factor NFATc1 has been shown to regulate the activation and differentiation of T-cells and B-cells, of DCs and megakaryocytes. Dysregulation of NFAT signaling was shown to be associated with the generation of autoimmune diseases ...

Abstract Background Developmental control of jaw size is crucial to prevent birth defects and facilitate evolutionary adaptation. We have shown that jaw size is established by neural crest mesenchyme (NCM), which are progenitor cells that migrate into the mandibular primordia and produce the jaws.

Identification of DYRK1A-targeted motifs in NFATc1 protein. [PDF]
A. Diagram showed NFATs sequence alignment. Sequences of NFATc1 (NP_765978), NFATc2 (NP_775114), NFATc3 (NP_775118), and NFATc4 (NP_001129494) were aligned using ClustalW2 software. Conserved regions among NFATs are underlined.

In this review, we critically summarized the application of natural polysaccharides (NPs) for the treatment of IBD. This approach combines, in a unique way (right), the basic structure–activity relationships of NPs from different origins (left) with their multipronged mode of action, which involves modulation of the gut microbiota and other ...

NFATc1 Expression as a Prognosticator in Urothelial Carcinoma of the Upper Urinary Tract
We recently found that NFATc1, a member of the NFAT family and a key regulator of the immune response, could induce bladder carcinogenesis and cancer progression.

Mixed lineage kinase 3 mediates SARS‐CoV‐2‐induced kidney injury via the Hsp70‐IL‐17A axis
Kidney samples from patients infected with severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS‑CoV‑2) showed upregulated expression and activity of Mixed Lineage Kinase (MLK3). Based on the mechanistic studies, we identified MLK3 as a critical player in promoting SARS‐CoV‐2‐induced kidney injury.

NFATC1 mutations impair functional interactions with GATA5 and HAND2. [PDF]
A- Wt NFATC1 or NFATC1 Mutants (P66L, I701L, P66L/I701L) were transfected with/without HAND2 and the DEGS1 promoter coupled to luciferase reporter construct in Hela cells.
