From Association to Mechanism: Regulatory Annotation and Pathway Mapping of Genes Surrounding Breast Cancer Risk Variants

ABSTRACT Inherited factors account for a large share of breast cancer susceptibility, yet the biological consequences of most risk variants are still poorly understood.
