Parametric Excitation of a Ferrimagnetic Sphere Resonator
The hypothesis that disentanglement spontaneously occurs in quantum systems is experimentally tested using a ferromagnetic resonator. Predictions derived from the hypothesis, and from an alternative theoretical model, are compared with the measured response of the resonator to an externally applied driving.

Multiple doses of tenofovir disoproxil fumarate (TDF) together with emtricitabine is effective for HIV preexposure prophylaxis (PrEP). TDF is converted to tenofovir (TFV) in circulation, which is subsequently cleared via tubular secretion by organic ion ...

Evaluation of the interaction between nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and methotrexate using human organic anion transporter 3-transfected cells [PDF]
Coadministration of methotrexate and nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) can cause a pharmacokinetic interaction and a subsequent increase in blood methotrexate concentrations.

Differentiated kidney tubular cell-derived extracellular vesicles enhance maturation of tubuloids
The prevalence of end-stage kidney disease (ESKD) is rapidly increasing with the need for regenerative therapies. Adult stem cell derived kidney tubuloids have the potential to functionally mimic the adult kidney tubule, but still lack the expression of ...

Effects of Maternal Low Protein Diet on Expression of Drug Transporters in the Blood-Brain Barrier of Adult Offspring [PDF]
Adverse uterine environment, manifested as low birth weight (LBW), has been shown to predispose individuals to hypertension, diabetes, and obesity by mechanisms that are just beginning to be understood.

Current first‐line NUCs show comparable renal safety profiles in CHB patients with no or mild kidney dysfunction, with growing evidence that favours TAF. Future prospective studies are needed to validate these findings, and more research should focus on CHB patients with diabetes mellitus who are at risk of CKD.

Generation and Characterisation of a Pax8-CreERT2 Transgenic Line and a Slc22a6-CreERT2 Knock-In Line for Inducible and Specific Genetic Manipulation of Renal Tubular Epithelial Cells. [PDF]
Genetically relevant mouse models need to recapitulate the hallmarks of human disease by permitting spatiotemporal gene targeting. This is especially important for replicating the biology of complex diseases like cancer, where genetic events occur in a ...

OAT1 and OAT3: Targets of drug–drug interaction between entecavir and JBP485
Entecavir and JBP485 (a dipeptide) exhibit the antihepatitis activities and it is possible for the two drugs to be coadministered in the treatment of hepatitis. We aimed to elucidate whether entecavir was a substrate of OAT1, OAT3, OCT, and PEPT1 and to investigate the targets of drug-drug interactions between entecavir and JBP485.

Immunolocalization of Multispecific Organic Anion Transporters, OAT1, OAT2, and OAT3, in Rat Kidney [PDF]
Recently, a family of multispecific organic anion transporters has been identified, and several isoforms have been reported. However, the physiologic and pharmacologic roles of each isoform, except OAT1, in the transepithelial transport of organic anions in the kidney remain to be elucidated.
