Regulation of organic anion transport in the liver.
In several liver diseases the biliary transport is disturbed, resulting in, for example, jaundice and cholestasis. Many of these symptoms can be attributed to altered regulation of hepatic transporters. Organic anion transport, mediated by the canalicular multispecific organic anion transporter (cmoat), has been extensively studied.

Distinguishing Molecular Properties of OAT, OATP, and MRP Drug Substrates by Machine Learning
The movement of organic anionic drugs across cell membranes is partly governed by interactions with SLC and ABC transporters in the intestine, liver, kidney, blood–brain barrier, placenta, breast, and other tissues.

Organic anion transporters in remote sensing and organ crosstalk
The organic anion transporters, OAT1 and OAT3, regulate the movement of drugs, toxins, and endogenous metabolites. In 2007, we proposed that OATs and other SLC22 transporters are involved in "remote sensing" and organ crosstalk. This is now known as the Remote Sensing and Signaling Theory (RSST).

Synthesis of AgBiS2 and AgInS2 Based on Formation Energies in Sulfur‐Rich Reducing Flame
High‐surface‐area AgInS2 and AgBiS2 nanoparticles were synthesized via enclosed flame spray pyrolysis by tuning flame conditions and formation energies to guide phase formation. Flame parameters were tuned to suppress oxides and enable pure sulfide phase growth.

The human organic anion transporters OAT1, OAT2, OAT3, OAT4 and URAT1 belong to a family of poly-specific transporters mainly located in kidneys. Selected OATs occur also in liver, placenta, and brain. OATs interact with endogenous metabolic end products

Fluorene‐functionalized spiro‐phenothiazine (PTZ‐Fl) exhibits strong Li+ affinity and thermal stability, enabling a PCE of 25.75% in small‐area cells and 22.07% in 25 cm2 modules. Under ISOS‐L3 conditions, PTZ‐Flbased devices retain over 80% efficiency after 1000 hours, demonstrating superior stability and scalability compared to spiro‐OMeTAD for next ...
