Allopurinol Induction on Histopathological Structure of the Liver in Male Mice (Mus musculus)
Allopurinol is used to reduce total uric acid levels in the body into oxypurinol which can inhibit xanthine oxidase. Allopurinol inhibits the precursors of uric acid formation, xanthine, and hypoxanthine.
