Verteerbaar P in de varkensvoeding : Digestible P in the feeding of pigs

Ontogeny of substance P in the digestive tract, spinal cord and hypothalamus of the human fetus
Regulatory Peptides, 1986The time of appearance and tissue concentrations of substance P-like immunoreactivity (SP-LI) were studied in 53 human fetuses aged 8-21 weeks. Detectable amounts were present at 8 weeks of gestation in available fragments of spinal cord and intestine.

Biogas digestates affect crop P uptake and soil microbial community composition
Science of The Total Environment, 2016Fermentation residues from biogas production are known as valuable organic fertilisers. This study deals with the effect of cattle slurry, co-digested cattle slurry, co-digested energy crops and mineral fertilisers on the activity and composition of soil microbiota.

Abstract Substance P-like immunoreactivity in extracts of guinea-pig gut was measured by radio-immunoassay using an antiserum directed against the C-terminal portion of substance P. The concentrations of substance P-like immunoreactivity were highest in the small intestine, high in the large intestine, low in the stomach, and lowest in the oesophagus.

Two trials were conducted to evaluate a novel microbial 6-phytase expressed in Aspergillus oryzae (Ronozyme HiPhos; DSM Nutritional Products, Basel, Switzerland) in gestating and lactating sows. In the first trial, 24 sows (Duroc × Landrace; 223 kg BW) were offered, at 16 d of gestation, a low-P control diet (formulated to provide 4.0 g total P/kg; 1.5
