Visual Path Tracking Control for Park Scene [PDF]
Autonomous driving application is developing towards specific scenes. Park scene has features such as low speed, fixed routes, short connection, less complex traffic, and hence is suitable for bringing autonomous driving technology into reality. This paper targets park scene, and proposes a visual path tracking lateral control method using only one ...

Path Tracking Control of Wheeled Mobile Robots
Abstract Kinematic modeling of WMR is considered regarding the choice of the generalized coordinates and the control variables, so that the model is independent of the particular design, structure, number of wheels, etc. Three methods for kinematic control are proposed, based on: (i) transformation of the model as seen from the moving coordinate ...

Path Tracking Control for Urban Autonomous Driving
Abstract A path tracking controller for autonomous vehicles in urban environments is presented. Based on system inversion, the steering angle causing the vehicle to follow the path in absence of disturbances is calculated. Then, the lateral distance and the orientation error w.r.t. the path are compensated by a state feedback controller.
