Human papillomavirus detection and typing using a nested-PCR-RFLP assay
Background: It is clinically important to detect and type human papillomavirus (HPV) in a sensitive and specific manner. Objectives: Development of a nested-polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism (nested-PCR-RFLP) assay to ...

For three collections of Irish Pyrenopeziza brassicae populations fungicide sensitivity status to methyl benzimidazole carbamate (MBC), quinone outside inhibitor (QoI) and succinate dehydrogenase inhibitor (SDHI) fungicides was determined using sensitivity screening in vitro. Molecular mechanisms of insensitivity have been identified for MBC and QoI in

Molecular screening of 140 field‐collected Myzus persicae aphids revealed target‐site mutations L1014F, M918L, M918T, and L932F in the sodium channel and S431F in Ace2. The M918L mutation was the primary driver of high pyrethroid (cypermethrin) resistance, while S431F served as a definitive marker for carbamate (pirimicarb) resistance.

Discrimination of Kratom Products by an Improved PCR-RFLP Method
In Japan, mitragynine, 7-hydroxymitragynine and Mitragyna speciosa Korth. (M. speciosa, "Kratom") were controlled as Designated Substances under the Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Act from March 2016. In this study, the origins of 16 Kratom products obtained from the illegal drug market in Japan were investigated by DNA analyses and LC-MS analyses ...

ABSTRACT Background Genetic variability within the follicle‐stimulating hormone (FSH)‐related genes might contribute to phenotypic heterogeneity in patients with Klinefelter syndrome (KS), yet its clinical impact on sperm retrieval remains unclear. Objectives To investigate the association between FSHB c.211 G > T and FSHR polymorphisms (c.2039 A > G ...
