Characterization of Genomic Inheritance of Intergeneric Hybrids between Ascocenda and Phalaenopsis Cultivars by GISH, PCR-RFLP and RFLP. [PDF]
BACKGROUND:The intergeneric hybrids between Ascocenda John De Biase 'Blue' and Phalaenopsis Chih Shang's Stripes have been generated to introduce the blue color into the Phalaenopsis germplasm in prior study. In order to confirm the inheritance in hybrid

ABSTRACT Noonan syndrome (NS) is a genetically heterogeneous disorder characterized by a broad spectrum of clinical features resulting from dysregulation of the RAS/MAPK pathway. Although complex genotypes are increasingly recognized in NS, cases harboring two distinct pathogenic variants in different NS genes remain extremely rare.

PCR-RFLP typing of the p1 gene.
M. pneumoniae isolates from 419 patients in this study were classified into eight p1 gene types by PCR-RFLP analysis. The RFLP patterns of the RepMP4 region (lanes 1 to 8) and the RepMP2/3 region (lanes 9 to 16) that represent eight p1 gene types are ...

ABSTRACT Children, as a particularly vulnerable group, are more susceptible to these mutagens due to their developing immune systems, higher physiological vulnerability, and increased exposure through behaviors like outdoor play and hand‐to‐mouth activities. This review aims to investigate the relationship between these environmental exposures, genetic

This study compared Premier Resolution HPLC with Capillary Electrophoresis for detecting HbCS/Hb Paksé variants and coexisting thalassemia mutations. Premier Resolution HPLC demonstrated superior performance with 50% fewer false negative cases (11 vs. 22) compared to Capillary Electrophoresis, particularly in heterozygous cases.

For three collections of Irish Pyrenopeziza brassicae populations fungicide sensitivity status to methyl benzimidazole carbamate (MBC), quinone outside inhibitor (QoI) and succinate dehydrogenase inhibitor (SDHI) fungicides was determined using sensitivity screening in vitro. Molecular mechanisms of insensitivity have been identified for MBC and QoI in
