Peroxisome biogenesis and peroxisome biogenesis disorders

Peroxisome assembly in mammals requires more than 15 genes. Two isoforms of the peroxisome targeting signal type 1 (PTS1) receptor, Pex5pS and Pex5pL, are identified in mammals. Pex5pS and Pex5pL bind PTS1 proteins. Pex5pL, but not Pex5pS, directly interacts with the PTS2 receptor, Pex7p, carrying its cargo PTS2 protein in the cytosol.

Deep Learning Network‐Tailored Microenvironment Matching of 4D Bioprinting Bioactive Scaffolds for Bone Regeneration

A DLN dataset was built to analyze MABS composition versus in vitro/in vivo osteogenesis and angiogenesis. An MLP neural network, taking BG morphological parameters as input, extracts bioactive features from these datasets. A rabbit tibial defect model then validates 4D‐printed MABS for adaptability and bone regeneration in critical defects.

Fatty Acid Binding Protein 5 Mediates Astrocytic Pyroptosis and Neuroinflammation in Epilepsy via cGAS/STING Pathway

Astrocytic FABP5 promotes mitochondrial stress, cGAS‐STING pathway activation, pyroptosis, and neuroinflammation in epilepsy, contributing to seizure pathology. Genetic targeting of FABP5 or pharmacological inhibition of STING alleviates epileptic phenotypes, highlighting a potential therapeutic strategy for epilepsy.
