Dielectric Elastomer Actuators as Safe and Effective Tools for Mechanostimulation of Human Cells

Replicating physiological forces is crucial for realistic cell models. Dielectric elastomer actuators (DEAs) offer a soft alternative, though their high voltages raised toxicity concerns.
