Phosphine-Catalyzed Annulations of Azomethine Imines: Allene-Dependent [3 + 2], [3 + 3], [4 + 3], and [3 + 2 + 3] Pathways [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
In this paper we describe the phosphine-catalyzed [3 + 2], [3 + 3], [4 + 3], and [3 + 2 + 3] annulations of azomethine imines and allenoates. These processes mark the first use of azomethine imines in nucleophilic phosphine catalysis, producing ...

Coordinatively unsaturated ruthenium complexes as efficient alkyne-azide cycloaddition catalysts [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
The performance of 16-electron ruthenium complexes with the general formula Cp*Ru(L)X (in which L = phosphine or N-heterocyclic carbene ligand; X = Cl or OCH2CF3) was explored in azide−alkyne cycloaddition reactions that afford the 1,2,3- triazole ...

Cell‐Delivering Injectable Hydrogels with Tunable Microporous Structures Improve Therapeutic Efficacy for Volumetric Muscle Loss

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The study presents an injectable hydrogel with tunable microporosity to improve mesenchymal stem cell delivery for volumetric muscle loss treatment. Mesenchymal stem cells encapsulated in porous hydrogels significantly promote the spreading, proliferation, and cytokine secretion of mesenchymal stem cells.

3D Printing of Functional Mesoporous Silica Monoliths with Embedded Metal and MOF Components

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This article presents the development of silica nanocage‐based nano‐inks tailored for digital light processing 3D printing, enabling automated additive manufacturing of mesoporous monoliths. Novel strategies for incorporating metal sites and inducing in situ growth of metal‐organic frameworks are introduced.

Design, Synthesis, and Evaluation of B-(Trifluoromethyl)phenyl Phosphine–Borane Derivatives as Novel Progesterone Receptor Antagonists

open access: yesMolecules
We previously revealed that phosphine–boranes can function as molecular frameworks for biofunctional molecules. In the present study, we exploited the diversity of available phosphines to design and synthesize a series of B-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl ...

Screening of phosphine resistance in Sitophilus oryzae (L.) (rice weevil) populations in Turkey

open access: yesJulius-Kühn-Archiv, 2018
In this study, the status and prevalence of phosphine resistance in Sitophilus oryzae (L.) (Coleoptera: Curculionidae) populations collected from Mersin and Konya Province in Turkey were investigated by conducting the discrimination concentration tests ...

Ferrocenyl hydroxymethylphosphines (η⁵-C₅H₅)Fe[η⁵⁻C₅H₄P(CH₂OH)₂] and 1,1′-[Fe{η⁵-C₅H₄P(CH₂OH)₂}₂] and their chalcogenide derivatives [PDF]

open access: yes, 2002
The ferrocenyl hydroxymethylphosphines FcP(CH₂OH)₂ [Fc=(η⁵-C₅H₅)Fe(η⁵-C₅H₄)] and 1,1′-Fc′[P(CH₂OH)₂]₂ [Fc′=Fe(η⁵⁻C₅H₄)₂] were prepared by reactions of the corresponding primary phosphines FcPH₂ and 1,1′-Fc′(PH₂)₂ with excess aqueous formaldehyde.

Exciton Dynamics in Layered Halide Perovskite Light‐Emitting Diodes

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This review discusses the exciton dynamics in layered halide perovskitelight‐emitting diodes (PeLEDs). It opens with a summary of the structural and photophysical aspects, followed by an exploration of controlling dimensionality and cascade exciton transfer in quasi‐2D PeLEDs.

Phosphine Functionalization of GaAs(111)A Surfaces [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
Phosphorus-functionalized GaAs surfaces have been prepared by exposure of Cl-terminated GaAs(111)A surfaces to triethylphosphine (PEt3) or trichlorophosphine (PCl3), or by the direct functionalization of the native-oxide terminated GaAs(111)A surface ...
