Impacts of elevated atmospheric CO₂ on nutrient content of important food crops. [PDF]
One of the many ways that climate change may affect human health is by altering the nutrient content of food crops. However, previous attempts to study the effects of increased atmospheric CO2 on crop nutrition have been limited by small sample sizes and/

Seasonal variation in food pattern but not in energy and nutrient intakes of rural Beninese school-aged children [PDF]
Background: Inadequate energy and nutrient intakes are a major nutritional problem in developing countries. A recent study in Beninese school-aged children in different seasons revealed a high prevalence of stunting and poor iron status that might be ...

NUDIX‐type hydrolase enzymes of subclade I and II preferentially target the inositol pyrophosphate messengers 4‐ and 3‐InsP7, respectively. Inactivation of subclade II NUDTs disrupts phosphate homeostasis and enhances bacterial resistance, revealing connections between defense and nutrient signaling.

Assimilation of phytate-phosphorus by the extracellular phytase activity of tobacco (Nicotiana tabacum) is affected by the availability of soluble phytate [PDF]
Phytate, the major organic phosphorus in soil, is not readily available to plants as a source of phosphorus (P). It is either complexed with cations or adsorbed to various soil components.

Dietary Phosphorus Requirement for Tambaqui, Colossoma macropomum, in the Grow‐Out Phase
ABSTRACT Phosphorus is essential for fish growth as it is crucial in skeletal development and metabolic reactions. The dietary requirement for this mineral varies among fish species and growth stages. Therefore, the objective of this study was to determine the available phosphorus (AP) requirement for tambaqui during the grow‐out phase (± 400 to 1000 g)

Dietary Diversity, Haemoglobin and Anaemia in Nepali Adolescent Girls: A Longitudinal Study
ABSTRACT Adolescent girls and young women in Nepal are vulnerable to poor diets and anaemia, yet the extent of these risks remains overlooked. We assessed changes in dietary diversity, haemoglobin, and anaemia, and identified associated factors among adolescent girls and young women in Nepal.
