Chemistry of Organic Polyheterocyclic Conductors

Israel Journal of Chemistry, 1986
AbstractThe synthesis and some properties of polymeric heterocycles as well as the latest results in the area of soluble conducting polymers are reviewed. Polyheterocycles with long chain substituents exhibit unusual properties in solution while retaining a relatively high conductivity in the solid state.

Thermoplastic polyheterocycles. II: Polyalkylene‐imides

Polymer Engineering & Science, 1994
AbstractPolyalkylene‐imides (i.e., aliphatic‐aromatic polyimides) were prepared smoothly in N‐methyl pyrollidone from straight chain aliphatic diamines and pyrromellitic dianhydride. Melting points of the polymers ranged from about 300 to 450°C, depending of the length of the alkylene chains.

Poly(3-alkyltellurophene)s Are Solution-Processable Polyheterocycles

Journal of the American Chemical Society, 2013
The synthesis and characterization of a series of poly(3-alkyltellurophene)s are described. Polymers are prepared by both electrochemical and Kumada catalyst transfer polymerization methods. These polymers have reasonably high molecular weights (M(n) = 5.4-11.3 kDa) and can be processed in a manner analogous to that of their lighter atom analogues. All

Synthesis and antifungal activities of novel polyheterocyclic spirooxindole derivatives

Organic & Biomolecular Chemistry, 2015
A series of spirooxindole tetrahydrofuran derivatives were obtained in moderate to good yields via base-mediated cascade [3+2] double Michael reactions under mild conditions. Their antifungal effects on selected five target phytopathogenic fungi were investigated, and their structure antifungal activity relationships were also discussed.

Synthesis of New Polyheterocyclic Compounds Based on Chalcones

Russian Journal of Organic Chemistry, 2019
The reaction of methyl N-{4-[2-(2-oxo-2,3-dihydro-1H-indol-3-ylidene)acetyl]phenyl}carbamate with tosylmethyl isocyanide in tetrahydrofuran in the presence of potassium tert-butoxide led to the formation of methyl N-{4-[(4-oxo-4,5-dihydro-3H-pyrrolo[2,3-c]quinolin-1-yl)carbonyl]phenyl}carbamate. Three-component condensation of methyl N-{4-[(E)-3-R-prop-

Tricyclic chemistry. Synthesis and chemistry of a novel polyheterocycle

Journal of Heterocyclic Chemistry, 1979
AbstractThe photochemical reaction of 1 with acrylonitrile gave the cyclobutane adducts II and III, which on treatment with base afforded a novel polycyclic structure IV. Reduction of IV with LAH followed by Eschweiler‐Clarke methylation yielded the polyheterocyclic structure VI.

Reductive polyheterocyclization: A new approach to the synthesis of polyheteroarylenes

Polymer, 1984
Abstract A new general approach to the synthesis of polyheteroarylenes by reductive polyheterocyclization, based on the reduction and cyclization of o -nitrosubstituted heterochain polymers has been reviewed. The synthetic possibilities of the method are demonstrated with a wide range of reactions.

New monomers for the synthesis of heat-stable polyheterocycles

Chemistry of Heterocyclic Compounds, 1970
To obtain benzodioxazole analogs of the polypyromellitimides and polymers with alternating pyromellitimide and benzodioxazole links, we have synthesized 2,6-di(paminophyl)benzo[1,2-d∶5,4-d′]dioxazole (I), 2,6-di[p-(p′-aminophenoxy)phenyl]benzo-[1,2-d∶5,4-d′]dioxazole (II), N,N′-di(p-chloroformylphenyl)pyromellitdiimide (III) and N,N′-di(p ...
