Autoxidation Products of Polyunsaturated Galactolipids
Neat monogalactosyldilinolenoylglycerol (di-18:3 MGDG) and digalactosyldilinolenoylgly- cerol (di-18:3 DGDG) were autoxidized at 37°C. The rate of autoxidation of di-18:3 MGDG was greater than that of di-18:3 DGDG. The oxidation products were separated from unoxidized di- 18:3 MGDG and di-18:3 DGDG by reverse-phase high performance liquid ...

SLC25A13 is identified as an immunometabolic driver of triple‐negative breast cancer that sustains ferroptosis resistance and immune evasion through a STAT3–IFI6 circuit. Pharmacologic degradation of SLC25A13 restores ferroptosis sensitivity and enhances anti‐PD‐1 efficacy, highlighting a strategy to convert immune‐cold tumors into immunotherapy ...

A role for polyunsaturated fatty acids in Th1-mediated disease [PDF]
The anti-inflammatory effects of polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA) have been well documented, however their exact method of action remains elusive. Dendritic cells (DC) are the most potent antigen presenting cell (APC) and we found that n-3 and n-6 PUFA

MiR‐940 Suppresses Ferroptosis by Controlling Expression of Key Regulatory Genes
A CRISPR‐based screening identified miR‐940 as a critical suppressor of ferroptosis in cancer. By coordinating the downregulation of pro‐ferroptotic genes with the upregulation of GPX4, miR‐940 establishes a regulatory network that protects against ferroptosis and correlates with poor clinical outcomes in distinct cancer entities.

This study reveals a metabolic signaling axis in the OSCC microenvironment where palmitic acid (PA) drives the activation of CAFs. PA uptake triggers CEBPG‐dependent epigenetic remodeling to upregulate ERN1 and TMBIM6, thereby mitigating ER stress. This adaptive program sustains CAF survival and the pro‐metastatic phenotype, establishing this pathway ...

Dietary Polyunsaturated Fat and Hypertension
A significant reduction in blood pressure has been observed during low-fat high poly unsaturated fattyacids/saturated fattyacid--ratio diets in a series of studies conducted in the U.S. and Finland. The results suggest the active role of linoleic acid but the effects of decreased intake of saturated fats and the concomitant changes in the intake of ...

A Modular PLUG‐IN Photosynthetic Chassis With Tunable Thermal Control for Mammalian Systems
This work establishes a “plug‐in” chassis compatible with mammalian systems that synchronizes growth, production, and cell‐wall re‐configuration, providing a versatile platform for photosynthetic bioproduction and microalgal synthetic biology. ABSTRACT Microalgae are promising photosynthetic platforms for high‐value compounds, yet their industrial use ...
