An Improved Directional Relay Adapted to a Distribution Network with IIG Integration
The integration of distributed generation (DG) into a distribution network changes the network’s topology. Three-stage current protection for a radial distribution network cannot meet the requirements of relay protection for a distribution network ...

The ubiquitin ligase RNF115 is required for the clearance of damaged lysosomes
Upon lysosomal rupture, an E3 ubiquitin ligase RNF115 translocates from the cytosol to the damaged lysosomal membrane. Moreover, RNF115 depletion impairs the clearance of damaged lysosomes, identifying it as a key regulator of lysosomal quality control.

Artificial nucleosome positioning sequences. [PDF]
We have used the emerging rules for the sequence dependence of DNA bendability to design and test a series of DNA molecules that incorporate strongly into nucleosomes. Competitive reconstitution experiments showed the superiority in histone octamer binding of DNA molecules in which segments consisting exclusively of A and T or G and C, separated by 2 ...

pH‐mediated activation of the lysosomal arginine sensor SLC38A9
Cells monitor nutrient levels via the lysosomal transporter SLC38A9 to activate the mechanistic target of rapamycin complex 1 (mTORC1). This study reveals that SLC38A9 function is regulated by pH. We identified histidine 544 as a critical pH sensor that undergoes conformational changes to control amino acid efflux from lysosomes; therefore, it ...

Regularity of Position Sequences
A person is given a numbered sequence of positions on a sheet of paper. The person is asked, "Which will be the next (or the next after that) position?" Everyone has an opinion as to how he or she would proceed. There are regular sequences for which there is general agreement on how to continue.

The human gut microbiome across the life course
Despite significant individual variation and continuous change throughout life, the human gut microbiome follows some life stage‐specific trends. This article provides a brief overview of how gut microbiome composition shifts across different phases of life. Created in BioRender. Özkurt, E. (2026) https://BioRender.com/8q4nrnc.

A whole-genome sequence and transcriptome perspective on HER2-positive breast cancers
Breast cancer is separated into multiple subtypes based on the expression of HER2 and hormone receptors. Here, the authors report the whole genome sequence of 64 HER2 positive tumours and show that these can be further separated into four groups with ...

Coding position in a sequence by rhythmic grouping [PDF]
It has been suggested that a perceived rhythmic organization may mediate remembering musical and other stimuli. This experiment examined whether or not Ss could register and remember position in a sequence using rhythmic grouping. Sixteen Ss heard tapped sequences 24-63 beats long, accented to encourage grouping by 4s.
