Quantitative Mass Spectrometry‐Based Biodistribution of Monoclonal Antibodies: An Alternative to Radio‐Biodistribution

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Monoclonal antibodies are powerful anticancer therapeutics targeting tumor‐associated antigens. Mass spectrometry enables precise and accurate quantification of mAbs in tumor plasma and healthy organs. Unlike ligand binding assay and radioactivity, mass spectrometry does not suffer from matrix effects and labelling artefacts while facilitating method ...

Perfomance analysis of a small animal PET scanner using 68Ga Isotope

open access: yesBrazilian Journal of Radiation Sciences
In recent years, the use of PET scanners for small animals in preclinical research has been growing in Brazil, due to this fact it is essential to have a quality assurance program to ensure the good performance of these scanners or indicate the need for

White matter hyperintensities are more highly associated with preclinical Alzheimer's disease than imaging and cognitive markers of neurodegeneration

open access: yesAlzheimer’s & Dementia: Diagnosis, Assessment & Disease Monitoring, 2016
Introduction Cognitive tests and nonamyloid imaging biomarkers do not consistently identify preclinical AD. The objective of this study was to evaluate whether white matter hyperintensity (WMH) volume, a cerebrovascular disease marker, is more associated

Full‐Body AI Agent: A Perspective on Multi‐Scale Collaborative AI for Systemic Biology and Precision Medicine

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We propose the Full‐Body AI Agent, a multi‐scale collaborative framework with 7 biological‐layer agents. It unifies multi‐omics/clinical data via standardized protocols, enabling phenotype‐guided closed‐loop reasoning, quantitative evaluation, and LLM safeguards, with promising applications in tumor metastasis modeling and precision drug development ...

Carboranyl‐Curcuminoids for the Neutron Capture‐Based Treatment of Amyloid Aggregates in Alzheimer's Disease

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The 10B‐enriched monocarbonyl analog of curcumin (BMAC) 10B‐9 enables site‐specific Boron Neutron Capture Therapy (BNCT) on amyloid‐β (Aβ) fibrils. Neutron irradiation induces histidine oxidation and fibril destabilization, as revealed by 1H‐NMR and FESEM analyses.

Bench‐to‐Bedside Translation of Self‐Healing Colloidal Hydrogels as Next Generation Design of Flowable Hemostatic Matrix: From Preclinical Evaluation to Human Clinical Trials

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Self‐healing materials represent a paradigm shift in designing functional biomedical devices for drug delivery, tissue regeneration, and 3D bioprinting. However, their clinical translation remains limited by challenges such as insufficient mechanical strength, potential cytotoxicity from chemical modifications, and complex activation ...
