Systematic protein–protein interaction mapping for clinically relevant human GPCRs [PDF]

open access: yesMolecular Systems Biology, 2017
G‐protein‐coupled receptors (GPCRs) are the largest family of integral membrane receptors with key roles in regulating signaling pathways targeted by therapeutics, but are difficult to study using existing proteomics technologies due to their complex ...

Straightforward Protein-Protein Interaction Interface Mapping via Random Mutagenesis and Mammalian Protein Protein Interaction Trap (MAPPIT)

open access: yesInternational Journal of Molecular Sciences, 2019
The MAPPIT (mammalian protein protein interaction trap) method allows high-throughput detection of protein interactions by very simple co-transfection of three plasmids in HEK293T cells, followed by a luciferase readout. MAPPIT detects a large percentage

Protein–protein interaction site mapping using NMR-detected mutational scanning

open access: yesJournal of Biomolecular NMR, 2007
We demonstrate a novel NMR method for the mapping of protein-protein interaction sites. In our approach protein-protein binding sites are mapped by competition binding experiments using indirect NMR reporter technology and Ala positional scanning.

A simple contact mapping algorithm for identifying potential peptide mimetics in protein–protein interaction partners

open access: yesProteins: Structure, Function and Bioinformatics, 2014
A simple, static contact mapping algorithm has been developed as a first step at identifying potential peptide biomimetics from protein interaction partner structure files.

Mapping of domain-mediated protein-protein interaction by SPOT peptide assay

open access: yesSTAR Protocols, 2021
Summary: Identification of peptides mediating protein-protein interaction (PPI) is crucial for understanding the function of interlinked proteins in cellular processes and amino acid-associated diseases.

Mapping of protein-protein interaction sites in the plant-type [2Fe-2S] ferredoxin. [PDF]

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2011
Knowing the manner of protein-protein interactions is vital for understanding biological events. The plant-type [2Fe-2S] ferredoxin (Fd), a well-known small iron-sulfur protein with low redox potential, partitions electrons to a variety of Fd-dependent ...

Reconstructing genome-wide protein-protein interaction networks using multiple strategies with homologous mapping. [PDF]

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2015
BACKGROUND:One of the crucial steps toward understanding the biological functions of a cellular system is to investigate protein-protein interaction (PPI) networks.
