ZDHHC5 Mediates Immune Dysregulation Driving Generalized Anxiety Disorder Risk
Mendelian randomization identifies palmitoylation genes driving generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) risk, notably ZDHHC5 and ZDHHC13. ZDHHC5 promotes GAD pathogenesis by modulating SSC‐A on CD4+ T cells, revealing novel immune‐mediated mechanisms and therapeutic targets for GAD.
