Failure anticipation in pursuit-evasion
This paper presents a new approach for the pursuit of targets by a team of aerial and ground robots under realistic conditions. Mobile target pursuit is often a sub-task of more general scenarios, that call for environment exploration or monitoring activities.

We consider pursuit and evasion differential games of a group of m pursuers and one evader on manifolds with Euclidean metric. The motions of all players are simple, and maximal speeds of all players are equal.

This paper studies the orbital pursuit-evasion-defense problem with the continuous low thrust propulsion. A control strategy for the pursuer is proposed based on the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation and the differential game. First, the system is described

In the game of a two-dimensional plane with a circular obstacle, a strategy of multi-pursuers and a single evader is studied. All the agents are Unmanned Aerial Vehicle and the evader is faster than the pursuers. The collaborative pursuit-evasion mission

Scalable and Practical Pursuit-Evasion [PDF]
In this paper, we consider the design and implementation of practical, yet near-optimal, pursuit-evasion games. In prior work, we developed, using the theory of zero-sum games, minimal completion-time strategies for pursuit-evasion. Unfortunately, those strategies do not scale beyond a small number of robots.

Generalization strategy design of UAVs pursuit evasion game based on DDPG
UAVs pursuit evasion game is a research hotspot in the field of air combat. Traditional solutions have many limitations to this problem, such as the difficulty of the model to adapt to complex dynamic environments to quickly make decisions, and the poor ...

Cooperative Pursuit with Multi-Pursuer and One Faster Free-moving Evader
This paper addresses a multi-pursuer single-evader pursuit-evasion game where the free-moving evader moves faster than the pursuers. Most of the existing works impose constraints on the faster evader such as limited moving area and moving direction. When

The game of pursuit–evasion has always been a popular research subject in the field of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs). Current evasion decision making based on reinforcement learning is generally trained only for specific pursuers, and it has limited ...

Path Planning Problems with Side Observations-When Colonels Play Hide-and-Seek [PDF]
Resource allocation games such as the famous Colonel Blotto (CB) and Hide-and-Seek (HS) games are often used to model a large variety of practical problems, but only in their one-shot versions.
