Multicentric tracking of multiple agents by anterior cingulate cortex during pursuit and evasion
Pursuit or evasion requires world-centric and agent-centric representation to coordinate navigation and motor control. The dorsal anterior cingulate cortex, which communicates bi-directionally with both the hippocampal complex and premotor areas serve a ...

RIPK4 function interferes with melanoma cell adhesion and metastasis
RIPK4 promotes melanoma growth and spread. RIPK4 levels increase as skin lesions progress to melanoma. CRISPR/Cas9‐mediated deletion of RIPK4 causes melanoma cells to form less compact spheroids, reduces their migratory and invasive abilities and limits tumour growth and dissemination in mouse models.

Loss of the miR‐214/199a cluster is associated with recurrence in ovarian cancer. Engineered small extracellular vesicles (m214‐sEVs) elevate miR‐214‐3p/miR‐199a‐5p in tumor cells, suppress β‐catenin, TLR4, and YKT6 signaling, reprogram tumor‐derived sEV cargo, reduce chemoresistance and migration, and enhance carboplatin efficacy and survival in ...

Evasion Differential Games in the Space of Square Summable Sequences
In this article, we consider simple-motion pursuit–evasion differential games in the Hilbert space of square summable sequences. We show that when the players have the same dynamic capabilities, evasion is possible under some assumptions about the ...

Positive Alexander Duality for Pursuit and Evasion [PDF]
Considered is a class of pursuit-evasion games, in which an evader tries to avoid detection. Such games can be formulated as the search for sections to the complement of a coverage region in a Euclidean space over a timeline.

Pursuit Evasion: The Herding Noncooperative Dynamic Game-The Stochastic Model
This article proposes a solution to the herding problem, a class of pursuit evasion problem in a stochastic framework. The problem involves a pursuer agent trying to herd a stochastically moving evader agent into a pen. The problem is stated in terms

Hippo pathway at the crossroads of stemness and therapeutic resistance in breast cancer
Dysregulation of the Hippo pathway drives nuclear accumulation of YAP/TAZ, activating stemness‐related transcriptional programs that sustain breast cancer stemness and fuel therapeutic resistance across subtypes, underscoring Hippo signaling as a targetable vulnerability. Figure created and edited with BioRender.com.

Orbital Pursuit–Evasion–Defense Linear-Quadratic Differential Game
To find superior guidance strategies for preventing possible interception threats from space debris, out-of-control satellites, etc., this paper investigates an orbital pursuit–evasion–defense game problem with three players called the pursuer, the ...

Optimal feedback strategies for pursuit-evasion and interception in a plane [PDF]
Variable-speed pursuit-evasion and interception for two aircraft moving in a horizontal plane are analyzed in terms of a coordinate frame fixed in the plane at termination. Each participant's optimal motion can be represented by extremal trajectory maps.
