A Self‐Healing Conductive PVP/SUM Hydrogel for Real‐Time Human Motion Detection
The PVP/SUM hydrogel exhibits self‐healing, conductivity, and strong mechanical performance due to H‐bonds and dipole–dipole interactions. It elongates up to 330% and shows fracture strength between 0.9 and 1.5 MPa under varying strain rates. We report the enantiospecific synthesis of the sterically congested all-cis 2,3,4,5-substituted pyrrolidines 4, 5, and 6, from either D- or L-serine. Hemiaminal intermediate 13 is converted to the fully substituted pyrrolidine 15 by way of a tandem Wittig-Michael reaction.

Crystal structure of 1-[(2S*,4R*)-6-fluoro-2-methyl-1,2,3,4-tetrahydroquinolin-4-yl]pyrrolidin-2-one
In the title compound, C14H17FN2O, the 1,2,3,4-tetrahydropyridine ring of the quinoline moiety adopts a half-chair conformation, while the pyrrolidine ring has an envelope conformation with the central methylene C atom as the flap.

Targeting a nucleotide‐sensitive groove on Hsp70 that binds the Bim BH3 helix, we integrate structures, biophysics, and SAR from peptides, fragments, and phenalene‐dicarbonitrile “wedges.” These disrupt the Hsp70–Bim complex with sub‐µM cellular engagement and in vivo activity while sparing Hsp90/mortalin.
