The previously unknown meta‐hydroxy‐substituted aryliodonium salts were prepared by a two‐step one‐pot synthesis from 3‐acetoxy‐1‐[(diacetoxy)iodo]arenes and arylboronic acids. This procedure works well with halogen‐, methyl‐, methoxycarbonyl‐, or methoxy‐substituted arylboronic acids as well as naphthalenylboronic acids, phenanthren‐9‐ylboronic acid ...

A double click‐strategy combining copper‐catalyzed azide‐alkyne cycloaddition with (thia‐)Diels‐Alder reactions involving a reactive s‐cis‐constrained diene is reported. Three different one‐pot protocols (i.e., sequential or three‐component reactions) are proposed and offer valuable guidance for future applications.

Two pyclen‐based Ga3+ complexes resolved by X‐Ray crystallography showed a heptacoordination ability deviating from the recognized hexacoordination. This feature supports the suitability of these chelating agents for the Ga‐18F species. Radiolabeling by coordination of Ga‐18F was successfully achieved in water and at pH 5, at room temperature, with 86 %

Nucleophilic Synthesis of 6-l-[18F]FDOPA. Is Copper-Mediated Radiofluorination the Answer?
Positron emission tomography employing 6-l-[18F]fluoro-3,4-dihydroxyphenylalanine (6-l-[18F]FDOPA) is currently a highly relevant clinical tool for detection of gliomas, neuroendocrine tumors and evaluation of Parkinson’s disease progression.
