General and Target-Specific DExD/H RNA Helicases in Eukaryotic Translation Initiation. [PDF]
DExD (DDX)- and DExH (DHX)-box RNA helicases, named after their Asp-Glu-x-Asp/His motifs, are integral to almost all RNA metabolic processes in eukaryotic cells.

The composition and unrevealed immune role of non-RLR DExD/H box RNA helicases in fish [PDF]
The large superfamily of DExD/H box RNA helicases are involved in various life processes, such as RNA metabolism, transcriptional regulation, translation, tumorigenesis, cell cycle, and viral infection, and RIG-like receptors (RLRs) in the superfamily ...

The DDX5/Dbp2 subfamily of DEAD-box RNA helicases. [PDF]
The mammalian DEAD‐box RNA helicase DDX5, its paralog DDX17, and their orthologs in Saccharomyces cerevisiae and Drosophila melanogaster, namely Dbp2 and Rm62, define a subfamily of DEAD‐box proteins.

Coupling between the DEAD-box RNA helicases Ded1p and eIF4A
Eukaryotic translation initiation involves two conserved DEAD-box RNA helicases, eIF4A and Ded1p. Here we show that S. cerevisiae eIF4A and Ded1p directly interact with each other and simultaneously with the scaffolding protein eIF4G.
