Ursolic Acid Alleviates Orchitis via Modulating Ferroptosis in Peritubular Myoid Cells of Testis
Ursolic acid modulates key ferroptosis‐related pathways in the peritubular myoid cells of the testis in forest musk deer. ABSTRACT Chronic stress adversely affects reproductive health, increasing susceptibility to pathologies such as orchitis. Additionally, the maintenance of iron homeostasis is essential for preserving the function of the testicles ...

Effect of testicular capsulotomy on lipid droplets in the seminiferous tubules of rats [PDF]
Aim: In order to reveal the histochemical alteration that might occur during the processes of the spermatogenic disruption induced by testicular capsulotomy, the location and alteration of lipid droplets in the seminiferous tubules were observed in the ...

Heat Stress in Quail: Impacts on Health and Productivity, and Mitigation Strategies
Heat stress disrupts physiological homeostasis in quail, inducing oxidative stress, immune dysregulation, and metabolic imbalance, which impair growth, reproduction, product quality, and welfare. Integrating nutritional, environmental, and genetic–epigenetic strategies enhances thermotolerance, sustains productivity, and supports climate‐smart quail ...

Quantitative Analysis of the Cellular Composition in Seminiferous Tubules in Normal and Genetically Modified Infertile Mice [PDF]
The aim of this study was to establish a quantitative standard for the cellular composition in seminiferous tubules at each stage of spermatogenesis in the mouse testis, and thereby evaluate abnormalities in the infertile mouse testis.

ABSTRACT Heat stress (HS) is an increasing threat to male reproductive health, disrupting spermatogenesis through complex and interdependent cellular responses within the seminiferous epithelium. Although excessive reactive oxygen species (ROS) production is a hallmark of HS, ROS also act as central regulators of cell fate decisions beyond their role ...

Seminiferous Tubule Degeneration in Human Cryptorchid Testes [PDF]
Two types of degenerating seminiferous tubules were found in cryptorchid testes with Sertoli cell hyperplasia of children and adults: 1) tubules with central degeneration, and 2) tubules with total degeneration. Central degeneration begins with degenerative changes in germ cells that accumulate in the lumen of the seminiferous tubule.

ABSTRACT Accumulating evidence suggests that paternal environmental factors have epigenetic effects on sperm and influence offspring. Neonicotinoid pesticides (NNs), which are widely used around the world, are known to affect offspring phenotypes through maternal exposure in mice, but the effect of the paternal exposure remains unknown.
