The effect of interspecific hybridization on spermatogenesis indicators in males of the genus Ovis
Interspecific hybridization of domestic sheep with related wild species is considered as one of the promising directions in animal husbandry. Obtaining, breeding and use of hybrid animals in breeding programs requires a more in-depth study of their ...

D‐limonene supplementation enhances testicular recovery following orchiopexy in a rat model of bilateral cryptorchidism. Treatment with D‐limonene reduces oxidative stress (↓MDA, ↑SOD, ↑GPx, ↑TAC), downregulates pro‐apoptotic proteins (↓TNF‐α, ↓BAX, ↓Caspase‐3), and upregulates anti‐apoptotic Bcl‐2 expression.

Dissecting mammalian spermatogenesis using spatial transcriptomics
Summary: Single-cell RNA sequencing has revealed extensive molecular diversity in gene programs governing mammalian spermatogenesis but fails to delineate their dynamics in the native context of seminiferous tubules, the spatially confined functional ...

Gonadal development in scorpion mud‐turtles, Kinosternon scorpioides, in a controlled environment
Stage 20 was identified as the critical point for gonadal differentiation in Kinosternon scorpioides, providing key insights into sex determination. These findings enhance conservation strategies by supporting reproductive management and population viability in both in situ and ex situ programs. Abstract Research on gonadal development including sexual

Kebar Grass Extract (Biophitum Petersianum) Increases Diameter Of The Seminiferous Tubules Of Diabetic Mice [PDF]
Diabetes is a metabolic disease that can affect the male reproductive system. The condition of hyperglycemia will increase the production of ROS, causing oxidative stress.

Abstract Stenopodidea represents one of the basal lineages within Pleocyemata, yet the male reproductive system (MRS) of this group remains poorly understood, with limited information available regarding its morphology and function. This study provides the first detailed description of the MRS in four stenopodidean shrimp species from two families ...

PHYTOCHEMICAL AND PROTECTIVE EFFECT OF SAUSSUREA COSTUS EXTRACT ON SOME PHYSIOLOGICAL AND HISTOLOGICAL PARAMETERS IN ALBINO RATS INDUCED WITH CHLORPROMAZINE IN THE TESTIS [PDF]
This study examined the possibility of using an alcoholic extract of S. costus root as a protective agent against chlorpromazine, which causes male infertility.

Local synthesis of plasminogen by the seminiferous tubules of the testis [PDF]
Plasminogen activation occurs through conversion of plasminogen to plasmin by plasminogen activators. In adult mammals, liver has been the only known site for plasminogen synthesis. Seminiferous tubules secrete plasminogen activator, but are behind a barrier that excludes the entrance of many macromolecules to this tissue.

Abstract The organization and function of reptilian excurrent ducts remain poorly characterized, particularly in Neotropical snakes. We provide the first integrative morphological, histochemical, immunohistochemical, and ultrastructural analysis of the proximal post‐testicular ducts of Crotalus durissus across reproductive stages.
