Growth of v-src-transformed cells in serum-free medium through the induction of growth factors [PDF]
The v-src oncogene is one of only two oncogenes capable of transforming mouse embryo fibroblasts (MEFs) lacking the IGF-IR gene (R-cells). R-/v-src cells grow robustly in the absence of serum, suggesting the hypothesis that they may produce one or more ...

A serum-free media formulation for cultured meat production supports bovine satellite cell differentiation in the absence of serum starvation [PDF]
Cultured meat production requires the robust differentiation of satellite cells into mature muscle fibres without the use of animal-derived components.

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.
