Epigenetic reprogramming in hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells (HSPCs) and downstream myeloid cells, mediated by H3.3 downregulation and endogenous retroelement (ERE) overexpression, contributes to the progression of multiple sclerosis (MS). ABSTRACT Background Skewed myelopoiesis in the bone marrow has been identified as a key driver of multiple ...

Shh upregulates the Shh signaling pathway and multiple cytokines in Shh transfected chondrocytes.
To explore potential mechanisms responsible for the redifferentiation effect of Shh, we evaluated the Shh signaling pathway. Real time RT-PCR and western blot analysis verified the stronger expression of Ptc1, Gli1 and Sox9 in Shh transfected cells after

An Accessible Microfluidic Platform for the Generation of Polarized Brain Organoids
This study presents an accessible double‐gradient microfluidic device that enables controlled morphogen delivery and spatially polarized differentiation in brain organoids. By integrating a pump‐free design and stable fabrication method, the platform generates dorsal–ventral neuronal asymmetry, offering a reproducible and versatile approach to model ...

Controlled delivery of sonic hedgehog morphogen and its potential for cardiac repair. [PDF]
The morphogen Sonic hedgehog (Shh) holds great promise for repair or regeneration of tissues suffering ischemic injury, however clinical translation is limited by its short half-life in the body.

Hierarchical multi‐material TPMS lattices are engineered as flexible tactile sensors by combining soft and stiff elastomeric layers with a conformal conductive coating. The bilayer architecture delivers sensitivity at low pressures while maintaining a broad detectable range under large loads, enabling reliable pressure and vibration monitoring for ...

TULP4, a novel E3 ligase gene, participates in neuronal migration as a candidate in schizophrenia
Mutations identified from four SCZ pedigrees resulted in decreased TULP4 expression. Tulp4 knockdown caused delayed neuron migration in embryonic mice, and impaired cognition and prepulse inhibition in adult mice. These phenotypes may be related to TULP4 through its involvement in the formation of a novel E3 ubiquitin ligases.

Autocrine Sonic hedgehog attenuates inflammation in cerulein-induced acute pancreatitis in mice via upregulation of IL-10. [PDF]
Hedgehog signaling plays critical roles in pancreatic oncogenesis and chronic pancreatitis, but its roles in acute pancreatitis (AP) are largely ambiguous.

The role of Sulf1 during Sonic hedgehog mediated neural patterning [PDF]
Heparan sulphate proteoglycans (HSPGs) are large molecules distributed ubiquitously, both at the cell surface and within the extracellular matrix. These molecules are known to play essential roles in developmental cell signalling, and the differential ...

An AlON interfacial layer is engineered within an AlN switching layer to enable transparent RRAM with four stable resistance states. The device achieves low‐voltage multilevel switching and a high HRS, allowing precise grayscale modulation and preventing light leakage in micro‐LEDs operated at VDD = 2.7 V.
