Comprehensive metabolome characterization of leaves, internodes, and aerial roots of Vanilla planifolia by untargeted LC–MS and GC × GC–MS

open access: yesPhytochemical Analysis, Volume 36, Issue 1, Page 30-51, January 2025.
Abstract Introduction Untargeted metabolomics is a powerful tool that provides strategies for gaining a systematic understanding of quantitative changes in the levels of metabolites, especially when combining different metabolomic platforms. Vanilla is one of the world's most popular flavors originating from cured pods of the orchid Vanilla planifolia.

Integrated Serum Metabolomics and Biological Network Analysis to Predict the Dryness Mechanisms of Fructus Aurantii and Its Q‐Markers of Dryness

open access: yesJournal of Food Biochemistry, Volume 2025, Issue 1, 2025.
Background: Fructus aurantii (FA) is the dry immature fruit of the plant Citrus aurantium L. and its cultivated varieties. FA is a medicinal material with the same origin as medicine and food, which can promote qi circulation to alleviate the middle energizer. Clinical practice and life experience have proved that FA has strong dryness, and its dryness

Sinensetin Enhances Adipogenesis and Lipolysis by Increasing Cyclic Adenosine Monophosphate Levels in 3T3-L1 Adipocytes

open access: yesBiological & Pharmaceutical Bulletin, 2015
Sinensetin is a rare polymethoxylated flavone (PMF) found in certain citrus fruits. In this study, we investigated the effects of sinensetin on lipid metabolism in 3T3-L1 cells. Sinensetin promoted adipogenesis in 3T3-L1 preadipocytes growing in incomplete differentiation medium, which did not contain 3-isobutyl-1-methylxanthine.
