Observation of coherent Josephson response in the non-linear ab-plane microwave impedance of

open access: yes, 2007
f k c[3]. The R s vs. H rf (k c)data in Fig. 1 shows a region of linear response at extremely low fields in which R s is independent of H rf . The T - dependence of these high quality crystals is discussed in a separate publication[4].

Two-Dimensional Confinement for Generating Thin Single Crystals for Time-Resolved Electron Diffraction and Spectroscopy: An Intramolecular Proton Transfer Study

open access: yes, 2022
Thin single organic crystals (≤1 μm) with large area (≥100 × 100 μm2) are desirable to explore their photoinduced processes using transmission-based ultrafast spectroscopy and electron-diffraction techniques.

In water multicomponent synthesis of low-molecular-mass 4,7-dihydrotetrazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidines

open access: yesBeilstein Journal of Organic Chemistry, 2019
The three-component reaction of 5-aminotetrazole with aliphatic aldehydes (formaldehyde, acetaldehyde) and acetoacetic ester derivatives in water under microwave irradiation leads to the selective formation of 4,7-dihydrotetrazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidine ...

Adaptor protein CIN85 potentiates the motility of osteosarcoma cells via the Akt/mTOR and MMP2‐COL3A1 axis

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
CIN85 is highly expressed in osteosarcoma, particularly in metastatic lesions. Its overexpression increases cell migration and Matrigel invasion, while silencing CIN85 suppresses these behaviors. Transcriptome analysis shows that CIN85 regulates MMP2, COL3A1, and Akt/mTOR signaling. Targeting these pathways reverses CIN85‐induced motility, highlighting

Interaction of HS1BP3 with cortactin modulates TKS5 localisation, cell secretion and cancer malignancy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Here, we demonstrate that HS1BP3 interacts with Cortactin through a proline‐rich region (PRR3.1) and show that this interaction, and HS1BP3 itself, promote cancer cell proliferation and invasion. Inhibition of this interaction leads to build‐up of TKS5 in multivesicular endosomes and altered secretion of CD63 and CD9, providing an explanation for the ...

Growth of bulk SiGe single crystals by liquid phase diffusion method: experimental and computational aspects

open access: yes, 2009
SiGe is an emerging semiconductor material with many promising applications in high-speed micro electronics and thermo-photovoltaics. In light of significant differences in physical properties of constituent elements, it is still a challenge to grow bulk

Shape controllable synthesis of NdFeO3 micro single crystals by a hydrothermal route

open access: yes, 2014
Orthorhombic NdFeO3 (space group: Pnma) crystals with controlled morphologies and sizes were synthesized via a hydrothermal method. The morphologies of the final products strongly depend on the concentration of alkali.

Stimulator of interferon genes agonist augmented antitumor immunity of osimertinib in Egfr‐mutated lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Combining osimertinib with the STING agonist ADU‐S100 activates innate and adaptive immunity to overcome the non‐inflamed microenvironment of Egfr‐mutant lung cancer. This combination increases NK and CD8+ T‐cell infiltration, associated with activation of the STING‐IRF3 pathway and local immunogenic cell death.

Influence of redox cyclers on thiol oxidation in the presence of nanoparticles

open access: yesБіофізичний вісник
Background: An increase in metabolic rate interconnected with oxidative imbalance are major features of tumor process. Higher ROS (reactive oxygen species) levels make tumor cells more sensitive to oxidative stress compared to normal cells.

USP29‐regulated noncanonical stabilization of the hypoxia‐inducible factor‐α in aggressive prostate cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We identify USP29 as the only DUB mirroring CA9 expression, a marker of hypoxia and HIF pathway activation associated with PCA aggressiveness. USP29 stabilizes HIF‐1α and HIF‐2α via a noncanonical mechanism that is independent of PHD/pVHL activity yet relies on proteasomal regulation, establishing USP29 as a previously unrecognized regulator of hypoxic
