From mice to humans—divergent strategies for intestinal homeostasis and regeneration
Recent advances such as organoid genome editing, xenotransplantation, imaging, and whole‐genome sequencing have enabled direct studies of human intestinal stem cells (ISCs). These studies reveal species‐specific features, including slower ISC proliferation, distinct injury responses, slower somatic mutation accumulation in humans, and an inverse ...

A single-event transient tolerant optical receiver [PDF]
Fiber optical communication systems have attained significant importance in space applications e.g. Satellites, Space stations, etc. The systems have remarkably lightweight characteristics, less frequency dependent loss, and provide high-speed data ...

Phosphoinositides and inositol phosphates as molecular glues
Inositol phosphates (IPs) and phosphoinositides (PIPs) regulate diverse eukaryotic processes. Beyond recruiting signaling proteins or acting as structural cofactors, recent studies suggest they mediate protein–protein interactions as natural molecular glues.

α‐Synuclein aggregation landscape from phase separation to neurotoxic intermediates
Alpha‐synuclein aggregation in Parkinson's disease involves a complex landscape of transient intermediates, including oligomers, fibrils and liquid–liquid phase separation (LLPS). A view is emerging in which LLPS maturation into solid‐like condensates may contribute to the formation of neurotoxic species.

A Cell Sizing Technique for Mitigating Logic Soft Errors in Gate-level Designs
The effect of logic soft errors on the degradation of the reliability becomes more crucial in the case of nano-meter semiconductor designs. Several hardening techniques have been reported from the transistor- to system-level.

Inositol pyrophosphates are energy‐rich signaling molecules that perform critical functions in cells. Three different families of phosphatases hydrolyze the β phosphate of the inositol pyrophosphate molecules: two have narrow specificities and one is promiscuous.

On Chip Characterization of Single Event Transient Pulse Widths
It is now well known to the radiation effects community that single event effects caused by energetic particles, particularly single event transients, will be among the dominant reliability issues in advanced integrated circuits.

CT10 regulator of kinase (CRK) and CRK‐Like (CRKL) are signaling adaptors driving cell adhesion, motility, differentiation, and proliferation. SH2‐domain containing (SH) proteins are enriched in YXXP motifs which when phosphorylated create preferred binding sites for CRK family SH2 domains.
