Mutant p53R273H disrupts PDPK1 homodimerization and contributes to PDPK1 activation
How mutant p53R273H drives AKT signaling is unclear. We show that p53R273H, but not wild‐type, directly binds PDPK1 via a mutation‐dependent conformational change. This interaction disrupts inhibitory PDPK1 homodimerization and enhances AKT phosphorylation.

Small RNA pathways in mammalian oocytes
Three distinct small RNA pathways operate in mammalian oocytes: RNAi interference (RNAi), the microRNA (miRNA) pathway, and the PIWI‐associated RNA (piRNA) pathway. These pathways use small RNAs to guide sequence‐specific repression and contribute to oocyte biology by targeting genes and mobile elements or appear insignificant since different ...

Expression of mouse small interfering RNAs in lettuce using artificial microRNA technology
Artificial miRNA technology enables the generation of siRNAs to regulate the expression of targeted genes. However, the application of siRNAs to alter gene expression is challenging due to their instability and requires a means to efficiently deliver ...

IGFBP4 knockdown (KD) impairs preadipocyte proliferation and is associated with IGF1R protein downregulation and attenuated AKT phosphorylation. The mechanisms by which IGFBP4 KD influences the IGF1R/AKT signaling pathway involve newly synthesized proteins and lysosomal degradation pathways. Created in BioRender.

Chemical modification patterns compatible with high potency dicer-substrate small interfering RNAs
Dicer-substrate small interfering RNAs (DsiRNAs) are synthetic RNA duplexes that are processed by Dicer into 21-mer species and show improved potency as triggers of RNA interference, particularly when used at low dose. Chemical modification patterns that

Presence and function of small RNAs during plant reproduction
Plants possess an expansive suite of epigenetic control mechanisms to keep their large, repetitive, and unruly genomes in check. Small non-coding RNAs constitute one such mechanism by directing transcriptional and post-transcriptional gene silencing ...

Delivering Small Interfering RNA for Novel Therapeutics [PDF]
The gene silencing capability of RNA interference (RNAi) is being used to study individual gene's biological function and role in biochemical pathways. However, the efficacy of RNAi depends upon efficient delivery of the intermediates of RNAi, small interfering RNA (siRNA) oligonucleotides.
