Targeting progressive multiple sclerosis: Toward mechanism‐informed precision medicine
Abstract Multiple sclerosis has undergone a therapeutic revolution over the past three decades. Randomized clinical trials and real‐world data demonstrate that modern disease‐modifying therapies substantially reduce relapse rates and acute inflammatory activity detected by magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).

In ovarian cancer, MEOX1 activates the SPHK1/S1P pathway to promote both tumor progression and tumor–stroma crosstalk. MEOX1‐dependent signaling drives CAF activation, enhances VEGF‐C expression, and stimulates lymphangiogenesis, ultimately facilitating lymph node metastasis.

Lung Pericytes: Molecular Mechanisms, Signaling Pathways, and Roles in Pulmonary Diseases
Central role of pericytes across major pulmonary diseases. Conceptual wheel diagram illustrating the central role of lung pericytes across diverse pulmonary disease states. A pericyte positioned at the center expresses canonical markers, including PDGFRβ, CD146, and NG2, and connects radially to five major disease contexts.

Neuronal contact‐induced expression of S1PR1 in astrocytes is regulated by JAK‐STAT3 signaling. Astrocytic S1PR1 modulates cortical astrocyte morphogenesis. Astrocytic S1PR1 regulates astrocyte territorial overlap/tiling in a competition dependent manner.

Sphingosine‐1‐Phosphate Receptor 1 Promotes Ovarian Cancer Tumorsphere Proliferation and Metastasis
In high‐grade serous ovarian cancer, malignant ascites frequently arise as ovarian cancer cells shed from the primary tumor and aggregate into tumorspheres, severely limiting treatment success. To date, little is known about the mechanisms governing tumorsphere endurance and metastasis within the ascites once formed.

Mechanisms that alter protein phosphatase 2A (PP2A)‐dependent lung tumour suppression via the I2PP2A/SET oncoprotein are unknown. We show here that the tumour suppressor ceramide binds I2PP2A/SET selectively in the nucleus and including its K209 and Y122

In cardiac cells, Plin5/AMPK regulate lipid homeostasis; excess CD36‐mediated uptake drives lipotoxicity, mitochondrial dysfunction, and CVDs (e.g., heart failure). Biomarkers (ApoB/ApoA‐1) and therapies (SGLT2 inhibitors) target this cascade. ABSTRACT Cardiac lipid metabolism is fundamental to myocardial energy homeostasis, with fatty acid oxidation ...

The Burden of Viral Respiratory Infections in Immunosuppressed Inflammatory Bowel Disease Patients
ABSTRACT Background and Aim Due to the increasing immunosuppressant use in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and the risk of serious infections, this study investigates the prevalence and risk factors of respiratory pathogen detection in this population to improve patient care.
