Subcritical Fluid Extraction of Stevia Sweeteners from Stevia rebaudiana [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Chromatographic Science, 1997
In this paper, the extraction of steviol glycosides in Stevia rebaudiana, including stevioside, rebaudioside A, rebaudioside C, and dulcoside A by subcritical fluid extraction (SubFE) is investigated. A simple, efficient SubFE method is developed. The extraction conditions (extraction phase composition, extraction time, etc.) are optimized.

Molecular Mechanisms of Anti‐Inflammatory and Immunomodulatory Activities of Key Phytochemicals: A Comprehensive Review

open access: yesJournal of Tropical Medicine, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
Phytochemicals derived from medicinal plants represent a rich and largely underexploited source of anti‐inflammatory and immunomodulatory agents. Chronic inflammation and dysregulated immune responses underpin many tropical and global diseases, including infectious, autoimmune, and metabolic disorders. This review examines the spectrum of plant‐derived

Safety evaluation of the modification of the food additive enzymatically produced steviol glycosides (E 960c)

open access: yesEFSA Journal, Volume 24, Issue 1, January 2026.
Abstract The EFSA Panel on Food Additives and Flavourings (FAF Panel) provides a scientific opinion on the safety of a modified manufacturing process for the food additive enzymatically produced steviol glycosides (E 960c). The new process converts purified steviol glycosides extracted from Stevia rebaudiana leaves through enzymatic bioconversion ...
