T-bet-dependent NKp46+ innate lymphoid cells regulate the onset of TH17-induced neuroinflammation
The transcription factor T-bet has been associated with increased susceptibility to systemic and organ-specific autoimmunity, but the mechanism by which T-bet expression promotes neuroinflammation remains unknown. In this study, we demonstrate a cardinal

ABSTRACT Surveillance imaging aims to detect tumour relapse before symptoms develop, but it's unclear whether earlier detection of relapse leads to better outcomes in children and young people (CYP) with medulloblastoma and ependymoma. This systematic review aims to identify relevant literature to determine the efficacy of surveillance magnetic ...

T-bet Activates Th1 Genes through Mediator and the Super Elongation Complex
The transcription factor T-bet directs Th1 cell differentiation, but the molecular mechanisms that underlie this lineage-specific gene regulation are not completely understood.

T-Bet Controls Susceptibility of Mice to Coxiella burnetii Infection
T-bet is a transcription factor known to initiate and coordinate the gene expression program during Th1 differentiation, which is crucial for clearance of intracellular pathogens. Q fever is a worldwide zoonosis caused by Coxiella burnetii.

Transient T-bet expression functionally specifies a distinct T follicular helper subset
T follicular helper (Tfh) cells express transcription factor BCL-6 and cytokine IL-21. Mature Tfh cells are also capable of producing IFN-&ggr; without expressing the Th1 transcription factor T-bet.

ABSTRACT Introduction Neuroblastoma (NB) with central nervous system (CNS) metastases is rare at diagnosis, but occurs more often during relapse/progression. Patients with CNS metastases face a dismal prognosis, with no standardized curative treatment available.

Altered thymic differentiation and modulation of arthritis by invariant NKT cells expressing mutant ZAP70 [PDF]
Various subsets of invariant natural killer T (iNKT) cells with different cytokine productions develop in the mouse thymus, but the factors driving their differentiation remain unclear.

We report here that the expression of the transcription factor T-bet, which is known to be required for effector cytotoxic CD8+ T lymphocytes (CTL) generation and effector memory cell formation, is regulated in CTL by microRNA-155 (miR-155). Importantly,

Key Points CD4+ T cell exhaustion during malaria is associated with reduced mTOR activity. mTOR activity and glycolysis in CD4+ T cells are correlated with T-bet expression.

Pathogenic Germline PALB2 and RAD50 Variants in Patients With Relapsed Ewing Sarcoma
ABSTRACT Approximately 10% of patients with Ewing sarcoma (EwS) have pathogenic germline variants. Here, we report two cases: first, a novel germline pathogenic variant in partner and localizer of BRCA2 (PALB2) in a patient with a late EwS relapse. Its impact on homologous recombination is demonstrated, and breast cancer risk is discussed.
