Aptamer‐Engineered Liposomal Platform Enables in Situ cDC1 Vaccination to Potentiate Immunotherapy in Prostate Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Prostate cancer is immunologically ‘cold’, with scarce, dysfunctional type 1 conventional dendritic cells (cDC1s) that limit T cell priming. We introduce an aptamer‐targeted liposomedelivering FMS‐like tyrosine kinase 3 ligand (Flt3L) and chlorin e6 (Ce6). Ultrasound induces antigen release and cDC1s recruitment, creating an in situ cDC1 vaccine.

Studies on the role of Coronin 1 and the actin cytoskeleton in T cell signaling and survival [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
Calcium ions (Ca2+) function as universal second messengers in most if not all eukaryotic cells, including the cells of the immunesystem. Ca2+ signals are required for the proper activation of lymphocytes, such as T-lymphocytes, their proliferation ...

CTBPro: A Next‐Generation Cholera Toxin Subunit B‐Based Neuroanatomical Tracer With Superior Brightness, Stability, and Sensitivity for Enhanced Neural Circuit Mapping

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
CTBPro is a next‐generation cholera toxin B–based tracer engineered by fusing CTB to the ultra‐stable fluorescent protein mBaojin. Exhibiting markedly enhanced molar brightness, CTBPro enables high‐fidelity neuronal labeling across multiple administration routes.

Activation of the Hedgehog signaling pathway in T-lineage cells inhibits TCR repertoire selection in the thymus and peripheral T-cell activation

open access: yes, 2007
TCR signal strength is involved in many cell fate decisions in the T-cell lineage. Here, we show that transcriptional events induced by Hedgehog (Hh) signaling reduced TCR signal strength in mice.

Use of monoclonal antibodies to study alloreactivity and T cell development in Xenopus [PDF]

open access: yes, 1993
This study investigated T-cell surface antigenic changes in the spleen of Xenopus following in vivo and in vitro allergenic challenge, using novel mouse monoclonal antibodies (mAb's) against all T cells (CDS), the putative ɑβ-T cell receptor (TCR), the ...

Visualization and phenotyping of proinflammatory antigen-specific T cells during collagen-induced arthritis in a mouse with a fixed collagen type II-specific transgenic T-cell receptor beta-chain [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
Introduction: The Vbeta12-transgenic mouse was previously generated to investigate the role of antigen-specific T cells in collagen-induced arthritis (CIA), an animal model for rheumatoid arthritis. This mouse expresses a transgenic collagen type II (CII)

Two Routes to Land: Genomic Underpinnings of Parallel Aerial Egg Deposition in Aquatic Old‐World Pila and New‐World Pomacea (Ampullariidae)

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Comparative genomics of Gondwana‐diverged Pila and Pomacea reveals parallel evolution of aerial oviposition. Convergent chromosomal rearrangements reshape regulatory landscapes within topologically associating domains. Lineage‐specific gene family expansions and viral‐derived perivitelline proteins (PV1) underpin desiccation resistance.

Predominant utilization of V beta 8+ T cell receptor genes in the H-2Ld- restricted cytotoxic T cell response against the immediate-early protein pp89 of the murine cytomegalovirus [PDF]

open access: yes, 1989
Cytotoxic T cell responses to the murine Cytomegalovirus (MCMV) were elicited in BALB/c mice (H-2d) by infectious virus. Eight days after infection, MCMV-primed local lymph node T cells were either depleted for T cells expressing a V beta 8+ TCR or ...

MG53 Coordinates Macrophage Polarization and Neuroimmune Coupling to Promote Corneal Nerve Regeneration via the MPEG1–MVP–STAT6 Axis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Corneal nerve regeneration is critical to corneal wound healing processes. The current study reveals a novel role of MG53 in promoting corneal nerve regeneration after alkali induced injury. Mechanistically, MG53 enters macrophages via its receptor, MPEG1, promotes MVP K63 ubiquitination, and triggers STAT6 induced repair‐related genes expression ...
