Dust in the Photospheric Environment: Unified Cloudy Models of M, L, and T Dwarfs [PDF]

open access: yes, 2002
We address the problem of how dust forms and how it could be sustained in the static photospheres of cool dwarfs for a long time. In the cool and dense gas, dust forms easily at the condensation temperature, T_cond, and the dust can be in detailed ...

Roadmap to Precision 3D Printing of Cellulose: Rheology‐Guided Formulation, Fidelity Assessment, and Application Horizons

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
This critical review presents a comprehensive roadmap for the precision 3D printing of cellulose. Quantitative correlations link ink formulation and rheological properties to print fidelity and final material performance. This framework guides the development of advanced functional materials, from biomedical scaffolds to electromagnetic shielding ...

T cell receptor next-generation sequencing reveals cancer-associated repertoire metrics and reconstitution after chemotherapy in patients with hematological and solid tumors

open access: yesOncoImmunology, 2019
The dynamics of immunoaging and the onset of immunoparesis in healthy individuals and cancer patients has been controversially discussed. Moreover, the role of chemotherapy on T cell regeneration needs further elucidation in light of novel ...

Structure-based, rational design of T cell receptors

open access: yesFrontiers in Immunology, 2013
Adoptive cell transfer using engineered T cells is emerging as a promising treatment for metastatic melanoma. Such an approach allows one to introduce TCR modifications that, while maintaining the specificity for the targeted antigen, can enhance the ...

Structure and specificity of T cell receptor gamma/delta on major histocompatibility complex antigen-specific CD3+, CD4-, CD8- T lymphocytes. [PDF]

open access: yes, 1988
Analyses of TCR-bearing murine and human T cells have defined a unique subpopulation of T cells that express the TCR-gamma/delta proteins. The specificity of TCR-gamma/delta T cells and their role in the immune response have not yet been elucidated. Here

Recyclable and Binder‐Free EGaIn–Carbon Liquid Metal Composite: A Sustainable Approach for High‐Performance Stretchable Electronics, Thermal‐Interfacing and EMI‐Shielding

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Binder‐free EGaIn–CB composite deliver printable, recyclable liquid‐metal conductors without sintering or polymer binders. Only 1.5 wt% CB yields shear‐thinning, high‐viscosity rheology, ∼60% bulk EGaIn conductivity, robust stretchability, high thermal conductivity, and strong EMI shielding (35 → 70 dB at 100% strain).

CROSS-REACTIVITY OF TCR REPERTOIRE: CURRENT CONCEPTS, CHALLENGES AND IMPLICATION FOR ALLOTRANSPLANTATION

open access: yesFrontiers in Immunology, 2016
Being able to track donor reactive T cells during the course of organ transplantation is key to improve the graft survival, to prevent graft dysfunction and to adapt the immunosuppressive regimen.

Substantially Altered Local and Systemic Immunity in Ischemia‐Free Versus Conventional Liver Transplantation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study investigates how ischemia‐free liver transplantation (IFLT) shapes both local and systemic immune responses compared with conventional liver transplantation (CLT). Our findings demonstrate that IFLT confers significant immunological protection by attenuating the STAT3‐HIF‐1α axis and enhancing the Heme‐HMOX1 pathway, two regulatory networks ...

Pre‐Encoded IFN‐I Sensitivity Exacerbates Memory T Cell Senescence in Solid Tumors

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Type I interferon (IFN‐I) signaling promotes p21‐dependent cell cycle arrest in senescent tumor‐specific memory T cells, resulting in poor proliferative responses and solid tumor regression during cancer vaccination. Conversely, IFNα/β receptor blockade reinvigorates T cell proliferation to regress solid tumors and is more effective with increasing ...
